She gave Jay a sly smile, not sure if they would ever see each other again. "Promise me, that you will remember me if we never see each other again," Bella asked him quietly. She then looked at the sky, and saw it was almost morning. "Oh come on!" She swore under her breath. "We need to get you home!" She told the prince with a sense of urgency.

He looked at her and nodded. "I promise Isabella," he says with a reassuring smile. He then is surprised by her tone at seeing the sun getting ready to rise and nods as she says they must leave. "Well this has been really enjoyable," Jayce says to her as he walks out of the water with her and gathers his jacket before calling Columbus over.

"And please," she asked Jay, "don't forget about me, about us, like the rest of the royals..." It always seemed like no one cared about the peasants anymore, even though they were the only reason this kingdom was still a thing. Most of them couldn't leave because they were basically slaves to whoever wanted one. They were considered to be anything for hire.

Jayce turned his attention to Isabella as she spoke and gently took both of her hands in his, so that they were both facing each other. "I swear," he says, "I swear til the day I die that I won't be anything like the others." He looked directly into her eyes as he says this, Jay's showing kindness and reassurance.

When Jay took her hands, she wished that she was born into any family other than a peasant one. It was impossible for them to be together for their separate social ranks, if he was to end up with Isabella, it could ruin him. And Bella would never do that to him, she couldn't. She knew that after today, she would probably never spend any more time with him, and just watch him be an amazing king from afar, cheer him on from the back of the crowd. "Go be the best king, I know you can!" She urged.

He smiled at Isabella's urge for him to be the best king. He stayed like this for a moment before leaning down and giving her a long, soft kiss on the lips. Jayce wasn't sure on why he did this but it just felt right.

Isabella looked at him right before he kissed her. She half wanted to pull away, but something just felt right. Half of Bella didn't want to fall even harder, but, the other half thought that maybe he liked her too. Once the kissed ended, her cheeks were rather red with blush, and she leaned over to his ear and whispered something into it. "You know, I love you, and I always will." She whispered into his ear.

He watched Isabella's face as it changed to a red shade from his kiss. He then listened to what she had whispered and nodded before saying, "And I love you too. You're the only one that truly understands me."

She looked at him for a second with the blush still on her cheeks, while a smile grew on her face, only to fade a few seconds later. "I'll be at every speech, party, anything that you attend." She told him calmly, "even if I have to kill a noble, I'll be there, probably in the back, but, I'll be there." Isabella then leaned into Jay and kissed his lips.

He listened to her words and nodded. He then kissed her back as she kissed him. "I would love for you to be there," he says, "just don't kill a noble. I would rather not have to see you in prison."
