"Of course!" He said cheerily. "Unfortunately these flowers only spring right before winter, odd, I know. But I'm glad you like it here" he said as he took a drink of water as well. "Staying around the plains is the safest for us and the herd, but as long as we stay together the rest of the territory can be quite amazing as well" he said in between drinks. He lifted his head and scanned the area, cold water dripping off of his chin. He looked toward Bella before using his front right hoof to strike the water. Splashing himself in the process, cooling down from the run he had earlier with the wolves.

Bella giggled at Core when he splashed himself, it looked fun so she did it herself, she missed herself and got it all over Core instead, "oops, sorry" she giggled and raced back up to the top of the waterfall being careful not to slip. When she reached the top she looked out into the plains and stood their watching the others horses.

Core shook off the splash just as soon as it had happened. He let out a soft chuckle before galloping in the direction she went. He slowed down once he got to the plains. It had been a long day and he was tired, but first he needed to make his trip around the territory. He would just have to stay vigilant since he had already used up so much energy earlier chasing the wolves. "If you see or hear anything just whinny, I'll hear you" he said toward Bella and the rest of the herd. Once Core got to the edge of the territory he made sure to leave his scent anywhere he could to warn other herd and predators to stay away. Although this only worked some of the time with predators, it had almost always worked with other herds, unless it was a lone horse.Fortunately, Core didn't have to worry about other herds too often, and no one ever really challenged his position for lead stallion, at the same time his herd was very happy and knew that they all cared for each other no matter who led them. His ears swiveled as he walked through the woods. Just as quickly as everything was going well Core picked up a scent of a lone stallion, it made his blood boil. He just hoped he would continue on his way, but he kept in mind what the scent was like. as he finsihed his patrol he came back to the plains and laid under a weeping willow tree, falling asleep quite quickly.

Bella smiled and watched him leave, "will do" she called out. She walked slowly back to the herd, exhausted. There was a lot of activity lately and it made her tired. She slowly drifted towards the river and enjoyed the nice cool water that refreshed her body. She walked out of the river and stood in the sun letting it seep deep into her drying coat, the cream colour of her coat shining in the sun. Closing her eyes briefly she listened to the birds and other animals, their sweet tunes ringing in her ears.

After the wolf had shown itself, Stolen went into full panic mode, galloping around the herd, stomping his hooves, and snorting fearfully. Even though it had been scared off, Stolen's limp reminded him daily that they always returned to finish them.

Bella watched (stolen) the stallion and looked at him questining. She has never seen someone go crazy like this before over wolves. She saw pain and fear in his eyes as he wizzed passed her. She didnt know him very well so just let out a quick whine and decided to leave Core to try and calm him down. (i write too often xD) Edited at March 23, 2024 12:09 AM by Hot 2 Trot.

Stolen reared over and over, turning his body and head to look and listen for the wolf. His muscles worked powerfully under his pelt and he splashed into the river, trying to cool down. He saw Bella coming up from the corner of his widened eyes.

Bella smiled at ghost and pawed the ground looking for anything tasty to eat. She gave up and instead pranced around letting all her energy drain.
