Jessica went to Flare's cousion's place. It hadn't been hard to find. Not for her at least. He had a feeling that htis guy would know where flare was. And if not they would know who did know.

Diablo's eyes were practically glowing red at this point. "Rex, watch Flare." He commanded the dog, shoving the guy through a doorway. He led Flare's ex outside around the back of the house and into the woods. "You are going to pay for what you said." He snarled, untying the man's hands. "I believe in a fair fight. Come at me. Come on!" He yelled, spreading his hands. When the man did come at him (I'm assuming he did lol), Diablo sidestepped and grabbed the man's arm, twisting it around. There was a loud crack as the arm broke in two, plain and easy. "There's more where that came from." Diablo hissed. He then snatched out a dagger and sliced the tendon on the back of the man's ankle. Without that, Flare's ex coudn't walk away. Diablo sliced through the other one as well, for good measure. "You have no idea how much pain I'm going to put you through." He growled, slamming the man against a tree until he heard ribs snapping. Diablo then aimed at just the right spot and with just the right force, kicked the man's knee. Another loud snap rang out.

When Flare woke up she had no idea how long she had been asleep for. Her mouth was as dry as sandpaper, and she was hungry. She tried to push herself into a sitting posistio only to groan. Every mucsel in her body hurt. "oww." she whimpered quietly. Meanwhile her ex groaned "You're worse than she is" he hissed at Diablo

Diablo raised up to his full height with a dangerous glint in his eye. "You're right. I am." He said with a fierce, menacing snarl that would bring fear into the heart of anyone. He had only ever gotten this mad once- and he hoped never to again. Diablo took out his dagger and hit Flare's ex with the butt of it, knocking him out. He then stabbed it deep into the man's heart. "Then again, I don't think you have a heart for me to stab." Diablo growled, wiping the bloody dagger on the grass and dragging the body farther into the woods. He spent a full hour digging a grave, rolling the man's body in before covering it all up. "You deserve to be eaten by the wolves... maybe they'll come and dig you up." He let out a heavy breath, sweat dripping down his brow from the heavy work he had just put himself through. Diablo cleaned the dagger fully in a stream, walking back into the house after making sure there was no blood on his clothing. His eyes widened in alarm as he saw Flare was sitting up. "hey, you should be laying down. I know it still hurts." He said with great concern, his demeanor flipping quickly from fierce-murderer to caring-man.

Flare looked at Diablo without saying a word.If Diablo was smart he'd figure out that the only way to get her to stop trying to get up was to strap her down. Her reason for not saying this was that her mouth was still as dry as sandpaper.

Diablo sighed a little, letting out a small breath of air. He grabbed a water bottle he had formerly filled up and offered it to her. "You are never going to get better if you don't rest." He pointed out with a quiet voice, quite the opposite from his angry snarl outside.

Flare took a sip of water before stating "resting was never something i was good at. I was trained to ignore pain and push through it. I was told i had to be unbreakable."

Diablo arched one eyebrow. "Well guess what- I don't care what you've been told. You are obviously breakable, from what I see, so just lay down before I tie you to a post." He snorted, though his words sounded gentle.

Jessica had been told that a certian house might be wher they were hiding. She had to find it though. She headed to the base to look some stuff up. The she sent an email to Ryker giving him the option to turn himself in or get chased down.

While Diablo waited for an answer, his computer dinged. He opened it and glanced at it, wincing as he saw. Well, if he responded they might get a tiny ping- and that might endanger Flare so he wasn't goig to do it. She couldn't move right now, so Diablo wouldn't do anything rash. Plus at this point getting chased down sounded way better.
