{Desiree's Pov} - "I looked to her and nodded, I wanted him alive just like she did, I gently hold him and feed him peppermints to keep him awake, I looked to her as she looked over him, I was scared for him and just wanted him alive even though i barely knew the horse, I patted his neck and kept looking at Lisa, I hopped she knew what she was doing, I kept holding him and making sure he wouldn't fall, "If were able to save him and get him back to competing, your always welcome to ride him", I told her with a smile" |

I so focused on wrapping this geldings leg that I almost jump when Desiree says, "If were able to save him and get him back to competing, your always welcome to ride him." I smile. "Thank you. I may do some dressage if that's what he does." I tell her, finishing the wrapping of his leg. I stand up cracking my back. Ok, ow. I have been bent over for way to long. I look at Desiree stroking his neck lovingly. I smile, a small one, at this girl. She loved horses as much as I do. And that's an accomplishment. "He should be alright now. I'm going to go get a stall ready for him then we should go up to the office and see if someone's put out a missing horse report. If not we should see if we can keep him here." I tell her, grabbing my stuff and putting it away. I walk over to a pile of shaving bags and grab one with no name, dragging it to an empty stall, with yet again, no name. And spread the shavings around. I walked out of the stall, feeling Desiree's eyes on me and to the spigot. I wonder where Qibli had gone. Had he come back? Or not? That thoguhts quickly dismissed as the water bucket I'm filling up reaches the top. I hoist it up and carry it to his stall, hanging it up and going to retrieve some hay. I decide to get him 2 flakes so he has enough to eat. Stepping out of the stall I look at the gelding and Desiree. Walking over and softly petting the horse. "Alright. You can lead him in there. He should be comfortable. And good job. You handled that well" I tell Desiree, smiling at her. "I don't know what we're going to tell the owner though." I added, giggling at the thought. Even though it wasn't very funny. |

{Desiree's Pov} - "I waited until she walked out, I gently walked him in while stroking his back, I then walked out and to Lisa, "The owner" I looked at her confused, "Look what his owner did to him, He's so skinny and injured", I said dropping to my knees with tears forming in my eyes, "We can't take him back", I said and looked to her, I didn't want the gelding going back if this is how his life was" - (Got to go till monday, Reason: Show jumping in two different places) |

I mention the "owner" again and Desiree looks at me shocked. "Look what his owner did to him, He's so skinny and injured!" She says falling to her knees. I can see tears forming in her eyes. "We can't take him back..." She added quietly and looked up at me. I kneel down next to her, pulling her into a hug. "Oh honey. That's not what I meant. I meant the owner here. He'll understand if we show him the condition of the poor thing." I reasure her. I feel tears start to well in my eyes. No crying. No crying. I think to myself. I can't start crying now. I have to be strong. For me, Desiree, the gelding, Rain, and everyone. I take in a shaky breath. Holding Desiree in a hug on the floor of the barn. I'll sit here as long as she needs to, I think to myself again, protectivly placing my head over hers. - (Oh okay. Good luck! (Do you think you could rp a little more? Like, this part at least? "Yeah I know he'll understand", I hear Desiree say. I let go of her, figuring she wanted to stand now and go see him. I sigh, as she stands and walks ahead of me wiping her face. I could tell she wanted to hug Qibli more then me but I don't mind. I mean maybe I minded a little but it's not fair to either of them. So I let it go, catching up with Desire. "How the hell are we going to tell him, we caught a horse, then procceded to help it and now we want to keep him!" I ask jokingly. - (Wishing you luck! Hope you do well! Your doing jumping and rail, or something else?) |

(Good luck! Sorry I wasn't on- I've been busy) - Qibli stayed silent while Desiree and Lisa had their conversation, feeling he wasn't a part of it anymore. About a mile into the ride, a beautiful Appy Gelding caught his eye. He watched it for a moment before Desiree breezed past, grabbing him. Then both girls dissapeared back onto the trail, going towards the barn again. "Oookay. I will be there soon." Qibli mumbled to himself, patting Dash's neck before doing a little cantering on the trail. He came to a field, the one he had been talking about, where a couple rock walls stood. Qibli set Dash up and jumped them easily, flying over each one before trotting back to the stables. +++ Ryker heard a low whinny that really didn'tsound like any of HIS horses, and it was a little hoarse. He was cleaning stalls in the barn when the two girls walked in- with a appy gelding he hadn't seen before. Ryker put the fork down and walked out, his look concerned. "What have we here? That guy doesn't look too good." He commented, walking up and holding his hand out for the horse to sniff it before running his hand down the gelding's neck and onto his chest. "He's dehydrated- where did you two find him? Where's Qibli, I thought you were riding with him?" Ryker inquired, turning an inquisitive gaze to Desiree and Lisa. |

I spot Qibli trotting toward the barn, so I elbow Desiree and I walk over to him, Desiree continuing to the office. "Hey Qibli. Sorry we left you back there... The horse needed help. He's in stall 4 right now. Next to Daisy. We are going to go see the owner to talk about him. Want to come? It's going to be a blast." I say rolling my eyes at the last part. I do feel bad we left him there. I asked if he was coming though. Guess he ignored that. I internally sigh, careful not to actually sigh. I stand in silence. Desiree walking to the office, Qibli on horse-back, me just- there. I shrug, pulling out my phone and checking it. Before I read them I decide to go to the barn, so if I do yell out in anger. It will be where no one will see it. I look back down at my phone again. I had a message from my boyfriend and my brother. I open the one from my brother first. Brother: Hey again sis! I checked with Grandma and she says we are free next weekend to visit! Also dad is back at another show. Can't wait to see you! I smile at the beginning and frown when he mentions dad. I text him back quickly, since this message was sent hours ago. Me: Alright! Can't wait for you two to come see me! Tell dad I said hope you fall off your horse and miss you too!! I smile at my reply, before going to check my boyfriends reply and grimacing. Boyfriend: Hey babe. Sorry I won't be able to come see you this week. I have work. After reading the text I roll my eyes. Yeah right. He was fired last week. I decide to text him back. Me: Go die Dereck. I'm breaking up with you. You've done nothing ut treat me horribly. (NO OFFENSES TO ANY DERECKS! lol) Then I blocked him. It felt so relieving if I'm honest. I realize I didn't listen to Qibli's response. Oops? Sorry dude. Since I'm just waiting for Desiree now I look back down at my phone, to cure my boredom. - (your alright! We all get busy lol.) |

(Jumping and rail, How fun lol, After this I got to go) - {Desiree's Pov} - "I looked to her as she let go of me, I slightly smiled and headed straight for the owner, Gently tapping on the door i smiled as he came straight for me, I sighed sitting down "Please listen sir, this is gonna be a lot", I said and prepared myself to tell him, I took the seat infront of him with a slight smile, "So we found a horse while Me, Qibli and Lisa were on a hack", I took a breath then continued, "We think he came from the other stable, the one not far from here", Another breath followed, "He's an Appaloosa Warmblood, could we keep him until we hear from his owner/owners", I asked hoping he'd say yes which he did, I got up and gently jumped up and down before hugging him tightly and running out to tell Qibli and Lisa, I seen Qibli first so i ran straight for him and jumped into his arms, Yeah i quickly thought this is akward, I smiled and jugged his neck, "So ya know the horse we saw today, well he said we could keep him until we hear anything from his owner", I said and hugged his neck again, After a minute of hugging i went to find Lisa, I found her and smiled, "Guess what, he said we can keep him for now", I said jumping up and down" |

(kk, Good luck!) - "Guess what, he said we can keep him for now", I look up seeing Desiree sprinting towards me. I smile as what she said sinks in. I slide my phone back into my pocket. "that's good news." I say, hoping my anger with my dad and my now ex-boyfriend wasn't showing. "What are you going to name him? Even if it's temporary." I ask her. I look over to see Qibli walking his horse into the barn and I wave. Waiting for Desiree to answer and for him to ignore my wave or wave back was kind of awkward, to say the least. I make a mental note to back a bag and run away. This is way to much anxiety for me. Or maybe I could do some jumps with Rain? She would like that. I think waiting for Desiree or Qibli to reply. |
