Katie woke up with a start, excited to get the day going. She quickly grabs her phone and reads the notifications while popping on some of her favorite jeans. Hey babe! So excited to see you later! Says one text. She threads her belt through the loops, and replies. Love you too! I hope you like the horse you are paired up with! 😘 Katie shuts off her phone and shoves it into her pocket, grabbing the halter and lead rope hanging over her headboard. This should be an interesting day. She thinks. "Hey pretty girl!" She calls to her horse. The mare trots to the fence and nickers to her. Katie jogs into the tack room, grabbing her saddle, bridle, saddle pad, and last of all her saddle bag, packed with a change of clothes and a Ziploc bag of grain. Katie drops them into the bed of her TRUCK and puts the lead rope on Evie, leading her to the hooked-up gooseneck trailer. She ties her beloved horse up, and closes the doors. Katie runs up to the lift, snatches up her favorite sweatshirt, and bolts for her truck. Work, stupid phone! She jams out to some Kane Brown and trucks down the interstate to her favorite place on earth: Forever Free Rescue Ranch. She parks the truck, and unloads Evie. She puts Evie's blanket on her and puts her in the first stall. Katie puts a whiteboard easel in front of the door to the barn, writing Welcome! Please put your horses in to the stalls with their names on them and put their feeds bins next to your assigned tack boxes. My office is the room next to the tack room. Thank you! And orders door dash Starbucks ( A venti mango dragonfruit refresher if you were wondering). She walks into her office, waiting for the sound of footsteps down the barn aisle. When she finally hears them, she goes out to get her favorite drink. "Thank you." She says, and walks back into her office to do computer work. (One of you have to arrive shortly FYI)

After loading his two stallions into the trailer, Liam went to the passenger's seat and opened it so that Journey, his dog could hop in. He then closed the door after the border collie jumped up and settled down into his seat. Liam got into the driver's seat, buckled both him and Journey up, put his keys into the ignition, and started the car.

He arrived twenty minutes later at Forever Free Rescue Ranch. After he parked he pulled out his phone to read the reply from his girlfriend, which made him smile. He then killed the ignition and got out of the car, opening the door so Journey could come out as well. He then attatched the halters onto Riot and Rebel before leading them over to the barn. He took a second, read the words written on the easel, and lead them into the barn, Journey hot on his heels. He led them both into stalls, Rebel next to Evie, and Riot across from Rebel. He then unloaded all the tack, feed, and gear.

Once finished with unloading, he stopped by his girlfriend's office, knocking gently on the door before entering. "Hello my beautiful girl" he says, coming around her deck and giving her a hug from behind. Journey wagged his tail as he plopped his butt down on the ground and nudged her hand for pets.

Katie heard familiar footsteps coming through the barn aisle, and stall doors closing. She watched as Liam knocked on her office door and walked in, hugging her. "Hi. Are you ready to meet your new project?" She asked him taking his hand, after petting Journey of course, and walking to the tack room. She grabbed the black halter and leadrope with the name "London" engraved into a nameplate attached to the side. She smiled warmly up at her own personal miracle, and gave him a kiss on the shoulder, pulling him in for a hug. "I've missed you. You should come see me more often." She suggests. Katie sighs, and pulls away, taking his hand once more and leads him to the farthest away stall. Inside the stall is a beautiful Oldenburger stallion, whos eyes look excited to see people. Katie lets go of Liam, and steps inside the stall, putting the halter onto London. "C'mon boy. Come meet Liam." She leads the large stallion out of his stall and walks him back and forth. "He is working on an english discipline, so I thought it was a match. Y'know. Beutiful stallion for a beautiful man." She explains, blushing. She puts London back, and heads back to her office to wait for the rest of the volunteers with Liam.

Liam smiled, the excitement in his girlfriend's eyes when she saw him made him so happy. He took a step back so she could stand up, following her to the tackroom. He looked down at his girlfriend as she kissed his shoulder. "I know, I'm sorry. I will make an effort to visit you more often. I promise" he apologizes, placing a kiss on the top of her head. He then followed her as she led him to a stall with a stallion with an eager look on his face. He watched as Katie lead him out, admiring the handsome stallion. He reached a hand up solwly before gently stroking the horse's nose. As she introduced the stallion's name Liam grinned. "London, a beautiful place and a beautiful horse. Fitting" he comments. "How's Evie doing?" he asks about Katie's own horse as she puts London back, following her back to her office.

Jaden's alarm went off and he hopped out of bed before getting dressed and heading out to his racehorse's paddock resided. "Hey pretty boy!" He called tiredly.Loki's ears perked up and he trotted gracefully to the gate.Jaden clipped on his headcollar before loading them into his 3 horse trailer and hitting the road.After a long,grusome and tiring drive,they finally arrive at the ranch.He then whiped out his phone and started texting Caleb. Dude,what stall are you in again?Pretty sure their next to eachother :)

After pressing send,he unloaded Loki and put him in his new stall along with a salt lick.Jaden then went back to the trailer and grabbed his tack and Loki's grain.After he had put all of his junk up,he went and checked on Loki. "You good big guy?" Loki snorted in response and Jaden laughed. "Of course you are." Jaden said as he stroked the stallions face.
