Ashton and his sister were fast asleep as well and with all the pups out it was silent in their room so their sleep wouldn't be disturbed.

Alice heard Luke and settled on the bed, watching the bathroom door as she waited "you feeling any better, did the warm water help?" she asked when he came out, her head tilted to one side as her wolf analyzed him, she wasn't allowed control often so she didn't know Luke all that well but the wolf planned on making progress while the opportunity was there. "why the long sleeves? It isn't cold out tonight" her eyes carried a questioning expression as they met Luke's for the first time in a while

Luke nodded as his muscles had relaxed quite a bit thanks to it, He looked at Alice and as soon as their eyes met he noticed her wolf was in control but his was nowhere to be seen. When she mentioned his choice of clothing he sighed "So you don't have to see my ugly body" Luke was a little self conscious not liking the scars and wounds he had covering his body, After looking at the ground for a second or two he went and sat at the edge of the bed before toying with one of the sleeves of his shirt already too hot.

Zamika went to the kitchen and found a pizza in the freezer. She preheats the oven. She sits on the floor quietly, Zamika zoned out just staring.

Alice sighed and shook her head, shifting over and leaning against his side, careful not to put too much pressure on his wounds "why would I think you're ugly? the scars don't bother me if that's what you mean." she said and looked down at his hands "you don't need to cover up, come on and let me see, It can't be that bad" Alice said taking Luke's hands in her's "and when you realize it doesn't make a difference you can take of these clothes and change into something cooler, you're going to overheat at this rate which after a fight like that can't be good"

Luke look at Alice again "are you sure? they're pretty bad.." He sighed, He thought about it for a moment 'Well if she's my mate she should accept me as i am right..?' He said to himself knowing his wolf could hear him 'Don't be a wimp Luke' the croaky voice replied before Luke's wolf drifted back off to sleep. Luke got to his feet and took a deep breath before removing the shirt letting Alice see the scars Alarick made and the one old scar on his chest from the rogue years ago

Jace once he'd checked the house out wandered back downstairs following Zamika's scent, Finding his way to the kitchen he looked down and spotted her sitting on the floor making him chuckle "you know you could sit on a chair instead?". He stayed standing watching her then his eyes drifted over to the oven his wolf drooling thinking it was a steak or something from the wild

"yes I'm sure, you getting good rest is more important than the way you look" she huffed and moved back, giving Luke space as he removed his shirt, Alice looked over at him for a few seconds and sighed "it looks painful, but it doesn't freak me out" she smiled and hugged him softly "now get into something comfortable so we can sleep" all she wanted was for him to sleep and put this behind him

Luke smiled happy that she didn't freak out and accepted him, He walked over to the closet tossing the shirt into the laundry basket before grabbing a pair of his shorts and getting changed into that before coming back to bed way more comfortable and relaxed than he was before. Getting into bed Luke laid back resting his head against one of the pillows and let out a sigh of relief that the day was finally over and he could sleep knowing he'd protected his pack and family from the worst and that they were safe now

While Luke was busy Alice slipped into sleepwear as well and made herself comfortable underneath the blankets, she closed her eyes and regulated her breathing until she fell asleep although it wasn't easy from there, nightmares kept jolting her conscious over and over again, the image of the bigger wolf taking her pups away from her while she could do nothing, it would end up a sleepless night for Alice

She nodded, "Yes but the floor was closer." she shrugs. Zamika stands up and hugs Jace, it was random but she wanted to hug. She lets goes and makes her way to the living room, she grabs a blanket and curls up in it on the floor.

Luke ended up staying awake most of the night close to Alice and trying to comfort her but was wide awake when at 4:56am Apollo started wailing, He moved the blanket off himself and got up before walking to the pups bedroom leaving the light off as he found his way through the dark over to Apollo. "It's alright" He said softly to the infant before picking him up and carrying him out and downstairs so he didn't wake anyone else, Luke set Apollo down in his high chair before boiling the kettle making him a bottle assuming he was hungry again.

Leaning against the counter top Luke drifted off to sleep a few times but jolted awake when he nearly fell over making Apollo giggle, He shook his head amused that Apollo found his tired state funny before turning to the kettle hearing the click as it finished boiling. He let it sit for a few moments as he got the rest of the bottle ready and poured the water in checking it wasn't too hot before he let Apollo drink it

Jace smiled when she hugged him he hugged her back before watching as she went into the lounge room and came back with a blanket, "What are you cooking?" Jace asked curious and also trying to strike up a conversation with her so it wasn't silence
