Haze began to speed up as she met the old / abandoned feild. In a single boundshe had leapt over the decaying fence that slowly began to fall apart. Elliot patted Hazes neck in a attmpt to prais the mare.

To shook his neck constantly trying to loosen her hands on reins, Hailey growled at him and his efforts. She pulled back on his reins pulling them to a walk, Tornado spooked at a bush and Hailey sunk her bottom into the saddle to avoid being thrown off in his spooky bush attack. She gritted her teeth and tried to pull his head up from his knees.

Haze began to slow down when she met a hill. She Paused on the hill. Elliot loosened his grip on her leather reins slowly pulling his hands up as if he was reaching for somthing above him. Once he was done reaching his hands above he put his hands behind him on Hazes hip.

Tornado wasn't having it he shed away from the fence but Hailey pulled his head up, "You really are a pain" she let him have his head as they walked around the arena. She looked at the time, "I have to go to softball practice" she dismounted and walked him back towards the stable.

He finally felt that it was time to head back, so he patted Haze's neck. He grabbed the reins and gently pulled away. She didn't respond for a moment then turned her back on the view. She trotted away unt'll she met the the decayed fence. Elliot lowared himself closer to Haze's neck. Her trot transfered into a canter. She pulled her weight behind her then pulled her forearms under her. She easly made the jump. Elliot alwasy said that it was made for smaller horses but he would never for sure know.

To snorted in the chilly air and Hailey patted his neck as she led him into the cross ties to untack and groom him down. She gave him a sugar cube then proceeded to untack and groom his black coat, when she was done she put all the brushes away and went to grab his blanket.

As they approched the barn he pulled on the reins a bit slowing her down. Then he turned her to the newer feild that was closer to the barn. He clumsly got off Haze and grabbed her reins leading her in the feild. Once Haze was past the gate he untacked her. "I'll train tomorrow." He'd respond queitly. Haze shook her mane and nudged him before turning away. He let out a forceful chuckle before closing the gate behind him.

Hailey pulled the blanket over his hind and bent down to secure the straps under his belly, To snorted relaxing because they were under the big heat lamp and he was very chilly from the winter in South Dakota.

Elliot came back like the pin head he was forgetting Haze doesn't like the cold. " Haze" He said like a younger child calling for the older child who was sitting infront of them, except Haze was pouting a few feet away. He eaned over the post laying his head on the fence "Haze come back" He groaned. Haze let out a snort of defeat as much as she wanted him to feel bad she felt the bitter winds. She came to him as fast as she could and nudged the gate for him to open it, He leapt of the fence and unlocked the chains and put her lead on and walked her back to the barn.

Hailey led Tonado in his stall and sat in the saw dust, she took out her school books and started studying. To layed down next to her putting his head in her lap before falling asleep, she put in her airpods to listen to music while she studied.
