Ghost looked at him "sage" he mumbled to himself. "Lieutenant ghost" he replied as she turned to open the door and leave. He shut the door and locked it behind him. He told price who sage was and left for the hospital. He sat back in the arm chair and waited for her to wake up.

Sage sort of huffed out a breath, though at least he knew the guys name. Well, a nickname anyway. Which really didn't help him much. And he hadn't been very friendly. He hadn't taken the muzzle off either, which was sort of annoying....he'd done what he'd asked, but he supposed it didn't matter much anyway. He wasn't exactly planning to be nice to these people. Maybe they weren't experimenting on him, but they were still keeping him muzzles in a cage. And now he knew Chloe was in the hospital, shot, but nothing else. Really, he was more worried and worse off than before ghost had come in.

Chloe had finally woken up. She looked around the room glad to see ghost. "How's rebel?" She asked. Ghost looked up "he's fine." Chloe has stayed for around a week and then was allowed to go back to base. Ghost and Chloe walked into the room with sage to ask more questions. "Can we trust you to remove the muzzle?" Ghost asked and Chloe stood next to ghost arms crossed and leaning on the wall, "answer truthfully and I'll make sure they play nice" Chloe said not bothering to look at him.

Sage had sort of just stayed in the room for...however long they kept him there. He honestly wasn't sure how long it was....there was no indication of time or if it was morning or night in the room. They hadn't fed him much either, so he'd sort of just gotten sicker. He didn't even bother moving from his spot where he was laying on the bed when they came in the room, though when he saw Chloe his heart seemed to speed up. Good, she was alright then. And she'd help him right? He scowled at ghosts comment and then winced when Chloe didn't seem to care. So maybe she didn't like him. Or maybe she only liked him when she needed him for something. Maybe this was the plan all along. 'do what you want. I don't care," he finally answered dully. He figured it was pretty obvious he couldn't hurt anyone even if he tried to now.

Chloe looked straight at sage. The same soft loving look she had had at the stable. She didn't want to hurt him but she knew she had to follow protocol. Ghost looked at Chloe "you can take the muzzle off." He said and Chloe went up to sage and undone the muzzle letting it drop to the floor. Chloe walked out to price taking her to a interrogation room. "What's going on?" She asked. Price put köing in to ask her question. "We know your a traitor and have been telling the enemy info on us" he said blankly. "I'm no traitor" she said. Köing banged his fists on the desk. "Liar!" He yelled. Ghost heard this and came out locking sages door. "What's going on" he asked and price told him about how the new female recruit saw Chloe giving intel to the enemy. Köing walked out and gaz walked in. He shut the door and all ghost could hear was Chloe's pain filled screams.

Sage barely moved when chloe took the muzzle off, except for a slight wince since his skin was raw where the metal had rubbed against his skin as he ate or drank or really even breathed. He didn't look at either human, even as they walked out and locked the door again. He sort of wished they'd left him with the scientists...they'd have killed him most likely, but that was ok. It was better than this. And at laest he could've died thinking chloe was at least a friend. Now he just didn't know. He was even worse off now than when he'd started.

Ghost looked at price. "This is stupid" he yelled. Ghost banged his hand on the wall as he heard Chloe scream again. He followed the recruit hoping to find something.

Sage's ears twitched slightly when he heard Chloe's scream. What was going on? He was suddenly very concerned for her, then scowled. Why was he so concerned? She obviously didn't care for him....why should he care for her? He tried to ignore everything, but it was so hard. Why couldn't he just accept the fact that she didn't like him and stop caring for her?

Ghost had followed the recruit around and had caught her selling the team out. He grabbed her and took her to price. Ghost forced the recruit to tell price what she had done. Ghost looked guilty as Chloe walked out bruised and covered in wet and dry blood. chloe got told she was allowed to go and that they were sorry. No one looked as guilty as ghost. As soon as she got out she walked over to ghost and stood there. She stood there as he hugged her. She sorta hugged him back and tried not to break down. Ghost then took Chloe to his room and sat her on his bed. He then stood against the wall "Chloe... I'm sorry I couldn't stop them" he said. "Don't... it's not your fault" she said. Ghost then helped clean her up and get changed.

Sage eventually heard Chloe stop yelling, and he panicked for a moment before he heard her voice. Then he scowled, angry at himself for still caring so much. Though, when he heard ghost respond, he could tell they were in ghosts bedroom...and that may have hurt the most. She obviously liked ghost more....maybe they were already dating or something. But why should he care? "I shouldn't," he mumbled to himself. But he did. He did a lot. And he wished it would all just go away. Normally he could push his feelings aside and bury then away. Why couldn't he now? His thoughts were interrupted when he started coughing. It happened now and again, especially since some of the soldiers here had taken to having their fun with him. They knew he was sick and hurt, so they couldn't resist the chance to hurt him more. He was surprised to see blood spattered on the wall though, when he coughed. Well, that explained some of the pain in his chest. He sort of sighed though, and accepted the fact that he'd just get sicker and sicker until he probably died. He didn't care much at this point...he was so, so tired, so he just slipped away into sleep.
