Value depends upon the person. I'm a player who likes the challenge of building my lines up from the ground. So it could be worth it (although I've never actually used a glass, medallion, of sven on any of my pairings).

With that said, at 3 months, I'd honestly wait vs throwing the money at one of those aids.

and EPP is not worth it, and neither is an EEE unless they are exceptional and have a super rare color, bravery, come from old lines, etc that sort of thing
save your money and wait

Wind I haven’t used many glasses but I would be patient and save it for the best match you can make that’s just lacking a little of something
But pretty sure sexed medallions guarantee the gender otherwise there would be no point having it on there

Also, it's my third month on this account and I can finally afford my first glass. Is it worth buying one for one of my EPP mares or should I attempt patience and at least wait for my EEEs to grow up?

If a medallion has either colt or filly in the name does it mean the resulting foal is guaranteed to be that gender?

Hey guys, I have been here for a couple of years but I usually just wing it. I made this discussion becuase I would like to understand training and breeding better. Can someone help me by explaining like when I look at the training levels they appear one of three colors: green, black, and red. I think red means they need a more experianced rider but I would like confirmation on that as well as what black and green mean. Also can someone explain how to tell if a match is good or not.

I'll answer your training view question, but leave the breeding to someone more experienced with that. Black numbers mean the horse and rider are the same level. Red numbers mean your horse leveled up before the rider and needs a new one (unless they're in futurities or federations) and green means the rider leveled up before the horse, giving your horse a slight advantage in shows.

I can answer your breeding question!

To put it shortly, a good match is when the weaknesses of Horse #1 are offset by the strengths of Horse #2, and vice versa.
Essentially, you don't want to pair two horses of the same weakness(es) as you will risk the product being a lower rated foal.

An example of a good match is this pairing: 🃏 Stolas x WW Fortina

Looking at Fortina, we can see from her wk4 that she isn't outright weak in anything in particular. Moving onto her wk7, we can see that her strengths are Hrt, Scp, and Str as she went up in those traits. Mv, Int, and Spd did not increase, so these may be average or weaknesses.
In her wk11 and wk15, her weaknesses are finally revealed! In wk11, she was not up in Mv or Spd, and in wk15, she was not up in Mv.
To me, this means that Mv is her greatest weakness, followed by Spd, and then possibly a tad weak in Int. These are the traits she needs offset, aka the stud I send her to needs to be strong in these.

Looking at Stolas, we can see from his wk7/14/17 that he is strong in Mv, Hrt & Speed, and weak or average in Int, Scp, and Str.
Wk 10 shows that his greatest strength is Spd. Wk11 shows again that he is weak in Scp. Wk18 also shows a weakness in Scp and Str.

Stolas and Fortina are a good match as Stolas is strong in both Mv and Spd, where Fortina is weak. Where Stolas is weak in Scp and Str, Fortina is strong. Their only problem point is Int, where neither are especially weak nor especially strong.
This match has produced three WWWs, all aided with an Int glass to cover a potential weakness there.

If you have questions or need any help when looking at matches, feel free to message me! :)
