You'd think after almost 4 weeks with a 4 day break in between... this flu would be gone..

They're typically less aggressive than chickens. There was some kerfluffle when she added last year's hatchlings in with the older flock, but after a few weeks everyone merged together and is one big flock

Oh nice. I didn't know you could have that many in a ratio.

Uhhh. Mom has a flock of 20. I don't know the exact count of each. She has more hens than drakes, though. I wanna say it's roughly 2 hens per drake?

Used to have chickens at the grandparents, we only butchered the rooster(s) when they got aggressive or if one of the hens started being a egg eater. Whatever meat wasn't used was cooked and mixed in with the dogs food or given to the neighbors for their garden compost

How many do you have Eury? Of both
The Old Gods
01:23:24 Void Malign
Bit of both. Drakes will get thrown into the freezer if they end up being mean to the hens.

I like ducks better because they're not cannibalistic like chickens can be

I wouldn't necessarily say I'm here for snark. I'm more so here for a bit of a wallow.
I've been extremely inactive lately and very neglectful of my game. I am only ever online to messily breed at RO because I have an obligation to my PONs. I haven't been training, I've been forgetful, my show stock is down the shitter and I think it's about time I finally come to terms with the fact I have too much going on for HEE; that maybe, unfortunately, my heart isn't in it as much as it used to be. And that whether I like it or not, I'm going to have to let go of the ponies I've worked so hard for over the past 5 years.
It's frustrating, and I don't want to leave and give up everything but I also can't make any commitments anymore and have zero interest in doing so. I love it here, and I'll definitely be back which leaves me conflicted. Do I let go of some of the best PON mares in the game and then have to start from square one all over again when I return in the future? It took me 5 years to get here. Five. Motherfucking. Years. Maybe I'm a little arrogant but I've been breeding top 5 PONLB mares consistently for the last 2ish years. It's my whole brand. Letting all of it go sucks, it's gut wrenching. But it's absurd to keep them. I can't let them sit and rot in my barns. They deserve more attention than I can give them.
I know they're just silly little pixel ponies, but I've invested a lot of time into them and a lot emotionally. HEE has always been a comfort site, and it was awesome, for the rough parts of my life, the times when I felt lost in life or like a total failure, to come on here to my silly little pixel ponies and feel like everything was going to be okay.
While it kind of feels like I'm tossing it all away, I know I've had a good run. I love my PONs, I love this game and whilst I don't really feel any desire to play at this point in my life, I am still very grateful to have had such a brilliant time on here. And, I know I haven't always been very active in the community or particularly successful at making friends, but you guys are wonderful. Thank you for everything, HEE.
I don't know when I'll be back, like back back, but I'll drop by every now and again to answer mail.

It sucks! But better to know you don't have the time than do what I did (poof with no warning or explanation, for 2 years). I'm sure you'll be able to find your girls excellent foster homes, and I for would be willing to hand over a good chunk of my show stock when you do return!

I'm very proud of my ponies, I've been so lucky but now it's time for them to spread that luck to other players I think.

If you have any friends you trust, perhaps they'd be willing to take on the ponies for a while to enjoy them and then hand back the reins?
Or perhaps what you'll want is a fresh challenge when you get back anyways.
Sorry to see you go, but take care of yourself first!

Oh Medi we will miss you! I know whiz is going on a long break and did this too, maybe give them to people you trust to keep up with them, train them, and match them well to keep up with them. And if you don't have anybody you can hand them off too I can help, as I plan on clearing out the barn with color horses for questing because that are boring at this point lol so i can shove any of your horses in there if you trust me <3
I hope you fall back into the groove! I would love to see you back someday lovely!

Aw thats so upsetting when life gets too busy, I hope to see you and your PONs and accidental SHs back here when you have the time <3 Puck's idea sounds really great, or you could always just copy paste a brood thread mid month and then hop on for rollover to put your girls up for brood so they're being used and you're building up funds to work with when you come back, that way you aren't letting go of all your stock and having to restart :)
