There is abuse in any sport that includes money, which is all of them. I have seen it in rodeo, I have seen it in English sports. Quarter Horses, Arabians, Paints, no one is immune to it. What counts is speaking up and out about it.

Most of the racehorse owners I know take genuine good care of their horses, they are selective about who cares for them even at certain tracks sometimes.

Alright, it's going to be a bit different with straws next month and month after. One boy is retiring and the other is going to be retiring the month afterwards. In saying that, there are a few rules for each of the boys that I'll list below. I'm so sad to see these boys go soon but so glad I got the opportunity to breed them.

Pepermint
- Anyone that is holding straws, please try to use them next month or the month after. I want to draw as many straws as I can from him.
- Anyone that has straws will not be able to order more straws until they use the ones they currently have. I'll buy back any straws if you have no use for them.
- When year 177 straw thread comes around for him, only a limited amount of straws will be offered and a slight increase of straw price since he will be retiring.
- I'll be offering 10-15 straws for year 177, which will be one per person, and you can keep these for as long as you want.

Skorpiós
- This is his last straw thread as he is retiring. So sad to see this colorful boy go.
- Anyone holding straws currently, try to use so I can draw more but not entirely necessary. I'll also buy back straws no one wants to use.
- Straws will be more since he is retiring and only one per person.
- As a retirement gift, I'll draw 2-3 people to get straws to him and use them when they would like to.
- I'm only offering 13 straws, 1 per person. These you are able to keep for as long as you like.
