So, in August 2025 I bought my first puppy. All my own money that i had been saving. Her name is Mila, lab cross and she was around 4 months so a proper baby!
Started the charming process of potty training with her and to my shock it took her about 3? weeks until she was weeing outside.
From there she slowly learnt house manners, sit, paw, stay and such.
Everything was off to a very promising start and I was just buzzing with excitement.
Thats when we took her to the vet for a checkup and for when she would be spayed. I was told that she was not 5.5 months but far younger. Around 4 months at very best.
That set me back a bit as she was still a big baby and i was scared I'd pushed her.
Let her be a baby and when she turned 6 months we took her out after being spayed and she started walking in the woods with me.
Fast forward to this May and i took her to the local shop yesterday. They allowed us in, very kindly and she lay at my feet while i payed. Growled at anyone that brushed to close to me.
As i am only 14 and a girl It is always a small risk being out alone, especially with the crime in my country so having her there was amazing.
We got so many compliments on how beautiful and well-behaved she is.
I also take her off lead when we go walking or running in the woods and the mountains. Her recall is epic!
