I only have one person blocked I think. But sometimes I need a lil Prezi break and i don't know. why do I need to explain why I wanna block someone? the internet is so fun because like. why would I deal with someone I don't like on MY phone. BLOCKED 👏🏼

I know and I don't mean a mod but to block someone for not free ranging a horse ? I don't know man...

I got blocked once for asking to buy back a PPP colt off of my ABLB studs. I offered them 20k for the foal. He had no color, nothing in particular that made him stand out. This was some time ago when blocking was fresh.

I went back and looked and they FRd him at 2 🫠

blocking should be easily accessible. what if theres no mod on and someone is bullying the ever loving shit out of you? it does happen once in a while.

yeah the poor mods don't need to hold court lol

it just seems like a lot of drama. and like trish said, more work for the mod

Well I think the way blocking works now is too easily accessible.

Yeah but like it's about perspective what may seem illegitimate to a mod may be for the player plus people can lie then it'll turn into one persons word against the other the blocker vs the blocked

nah let people block who they want. i once blocked someone because they didnt like the same ice cream flavor as me. live and let live

I feel like having to give reasons though wouldn't work because people would make stuff up

uh hard pass do you know how much work mods already have? remembering that we are volunteers
The Old Gods
04:14:17 Void Malign
Neh. I don't agree with that. I shouldn't have to justify why someone's bigoted behavior makes me uncomfortable, for example
Eagle Creek

Like have to write out a statement of why and what happened. Maybe it will make blocking less frequent for dumb reasons

Hi there!
as a few of you know, i had 2 horses, and i recently sold one and have just bought another. My gelding who i bought 2 years ago has settled in to life at my barn very well, and we had no issue. However this new horse is coming in a week or so, and the owner was saying he had some difficulties sattling in to his previous barn, like he wouldnt leave his box, was nervous around other horses and people, ect. It eventually sorted out and he was fine there, but i really just want to make sure he is as comfortable as possible living with us.
Do any of you have any advice or extra tips on how to help him settle in? thanks so much <3

Put him on ulcer preventative when he gets there. Usually moving stresses them out which gives them ulcers which stresses them out more and it's turtles all the way down. That'll help him relax a lot. Giving him an older, calmer buddy might help him acclimate as well, but don't pander to him too much. You don't want him to get used to being treated like glass and then change the schedule and stress him out all over again.

oh thats actually a super amazing idea, ill tell my vet. He is in a box right next to my horse and an old pony who are both super chilled and friendly, and i plan on him going out with them 5 days/nights a week too so hopefully they all get along.
