Someone asked me to share my sweet boy after I mentioned him in the chat, so that's what I'm going to do. His mom is a mare I call Blossom. She is a granddaughter of Hollywood Dunit and Docs Solano. She has a brother who is a finished youth reining horse and a daughter that is used as a donor mare a few hundred miles north. Blossom has gotten me 2 High Point and 1 Reserve High Point trophy at my county fair. She is amazing to be around and can handle pretty much anything from barrels to trails to cows.

The sire is a Cremello boy that we bred. Never showed due to my mom's health. He is sired by Two Socks For Te and out of a sister to Docs Chrissy. Saturn is a very chill boy. Light handle, good backup, easy to handle around mares. He's 16 hands of lazy and quiet. I can take strangers in the pen to see him and not have to worry about someone getting bitten or kicked. He passes on straight legs, muscle, size, color, and calm personality in his offspring, and Quasar is no exception.

Quasar, being an April baby, is still nursing. Even though he hasn't had a ton of work done, he still walks right up to me and is very easy to handle. He leads, ties, and picks up his feet. I'm working on having him set up, back, and yield his hind end a little now. I'm in no rush and he's doing pretty well at standing. He only gets around 1 or 2 pounds of grain per day, so I'm hoping he'll really get thick when I start feeding him more. I'm hoping he'll be the first stallion I show.

Wow, is he as tall already as these pictures make it seem? Cute boy, he looks kind. Good luck with him.

Thanks! Yeah, my boy is about 13.1 right now. His parents are 15.3 and 16, so he'll probably be that tall by the time he hits 3. His 5 year old half sister is 15.3 and an absolute CHONK. I'm super happy to have him.
