When I was a teenager in a group lesson we were riding our horses up and down this hill. Well, the horse I was riding was a TB named Snickers. It bolted and bucked me off at the top of the hill. I rolled all the way down the hill. I think Snickers was laughing at me. 😂

My funniest fall was proabably when I was riding on the laziest lesson horse at my riding school. He was a 14hh Connie and he was super chill. We were coming up to a jump, just a small cross rail (this was when I was about 10) and I was feeling good, and he was feeling good too. But then he decided that he didn't want to put effort in to the jump and clipped it with is frount feet. This caused him to stumble and flung me on to his neck. But being the sweet horse he was, he justcorrected himself stood there and lowered his neck so I could roll onto the ground. He was the sweetest boy. XD Thankfully me and him were ok, it wasn't the worst fall I had but it was funny.

Probably the most funny time for me was when I was doing some bareback work with a charming chestnut gelding named Smuggly. We were practicing a lope around the arena when we took a turn to sharp. As if in slow motion, I gracefully slipped right off the side of him and landed on my rear end on the ground. No injuries were had and it was quickly laughed off. Definitely the funniest involuntary dismount. The most scary involuntary dismount I had was probably not as scary for me but for the people around me. I was working on some bombproofing with a wonderful quarter horse gelding named Beau. We were working on puddles. He truly enjoyed puddles and would stop every time we walked through one. I decided to try and fix this problem on the aftermath of a rainy day. The arena had one large standing puddle in it and I practiced walking him through that. We went through with little difficulty the first time, however, when it came to round two things got messy. Beau stopped and despite ample coaxing decided that he was going to play in the puddle. He started to paw while I made ample attempt to redirect his attention to me. He was deadset on the puddle. Suddenly he went down to roll. In an instant I leaped from the saddle, just in the nick of time too. Any slower and my leg would have gotten crushed under him. He rolled and got that saddle soooo dirty. That was not a good day. Reason enough to say, I was not happy. However, the look of satisfaction on Beau's face was comical. Those were my two most memorable involuntary dismounts. :)

One of my most memberable and funny falls was riding my mustang bareback on the trails. We were about to go through a ditch to the main trail. He jumped straight and I didn't - kinda like this | / Well I landed on my back on the main trail. He turned around and stuck his nose on mine like he was concerned and confused as to why I was down there. It was so funny I couldn't help but laugh while laying there in the grass as he stood over me. I walked all the way back the barn with him cause I had to walk that one off XD

Mine was when me and my horse were on a trail ride and she got spooked by a car. She jumpped over to the side and I almost (almost!) fell off.

Legend has it that if you listen closely, you can hear the snickers of Snickers on the wind.

When I was about 5 years old, my grandparents bought me my first horses. Since he had my mare bred he decided to buy a few more horses including a black TWH named Spivey. He was an alright gelding but was very large and I wouldn't have been able to ride him on my own. My popa and I were in the middle of the woods and came to the top of this mountain where there was a little bit of a clearing. Since we were both riding Spivey, he hopped off and then went to go look at something since it seemed off to him. He must have caught the horse with his spur or something because as soon as he got off, the horse reared and I fell off flat on the ground and landed on my chest. My popa was so scared and checked to see if i was okay which I was and was more concerned about me being able to ride again since my popa is one of those people who will see their grandchild get hurt and not allow them to do the thing that hurt them in the first place. So I just said I was okay despite hardly being able to breathe and got back on the horse and rode all the way back. He told me not to tell my mom but the look on both of our faces gave it away XD
