I would most definitely get a mustang. I got a BLM a little over 6 months ago and if you're willing to put in the time and effort, it's the best thing you could experience. I've got a mare and she's the smartest, most willing horse I've ever worked with. But like other people suggested, look for one that's looking at you in the pen and moving towards you, not bolting to the other side. With the mustangs though, you never know what you're gonna get, but it's best to look for ones that seem to have a more curious approach to humans.
