Hi everyone! I got Koko's ancestory/breed results back on Sunday, but I had to wait until today to reveal them due to, A; me not knowing the results, B; I waited until I could see his owner to learn of his composition. Here are the results!! The first 4 images break down his breed composition and the last image breaks down different breeds and the average composition/make up for the breed. We were very surprised by the results. We still think one of his parents might have been at QH, but who knows, the other might have been and ISH/Thoroughbred mix, for he definetly has a composition very similar to an ISH. I have gotten the color, and genetic health and disease risks back. I don't expect the Ancestory/breed composition to arrive anytime between the 5th and 19th of January. What I have discovered so far is that he is a viglent horse, less likely to be curious than warry about stuff. I also learned that he is a true black with the genetics E/e and Tobino genetics of To/na. He has tested negative for any major genetic diseases and health issues. I'll update you all more once I get the breed composition test back.

Hi everyone. I want everyone's oppinions on what breeds my half lease could be. His name is Kokopelli, Koko for short. I will link some videos of his movements. They will have me riding him btw. It is obious that he could be just a regular American Paint horse, but we (his owner and I) think there is more to him than just that. His owner got him when he was 3 or 4 and his is now about 15. He stands at about 15.1 hands. He competes Novice, about 3' eventing and First Level Test 1,2, and possibly 3. He can do movements at level Advanced dressage, he jsut can't do a full test put together. But we can do the whole Prelim A test put together. Working on finding an image of him standing. First of all that is a super awesome little horse you have there and he's definitely superrrr talented. He looks to be just plain American Paint but he could maybe have some Thoroughbred in him? Looks pretty tall and has the athleticism for sure. But it's just a guess haha Edited at November 24, 2020 02:17 PM by Holly Hill Farm

Thank you! Haha, he is our little rock star. He is also a cuddle bug which is amazing. I should probably tell you guys what our, his owner and I, guess what his breeds are. We think he is a Quarter Horse, Thoroughbred, with a little bit of Arab mixed in. He was an off the truck from out west horse, so it is just a guess from his build and athletic ability. He's just lovely! I do see a lot of QH in his hip and hock, and definitely the color, but I'm guessing from your videos that you're somewhere in europe? Which would make his breed a bit unusual. I could definitely see some TB or ISH influence in there, but not a lot of Arab.

Thank you! I actually am in the US. In New England, in the NH, VT area to be precise. I can understand that. We defenetly think there is something with QH and TB. I never gave a thought to ISH before though. It just happened to be raining and heavily overcast in the two jumping videos Edited at November 24, 2020 03:45 PM by Ocean River Stables

I see paint and QH, as well as maybe TB in the head.

I'm another vote for there being a major dose of QH in there. The stills, particularly the 2nd image, remind me quite a bit of how my one mare was built and she was a full registered QH. Even down to his head, if you colored the horse in that image chestnut and slapped two stockings on him it could be a picture of my old mare. Lovely horse by the way, I like him a lot :)
