I have 9 Morgans and 3 Appys and 3 QH and the Morgans are actually my least favorite; they're super high strung and bossy. I actually just got inside from trying to catch an old Morgan broodmare and ended up getting drug across the pasture, so right now they're my least favorite lol Barrel racing is the worst event

Barrel racing is quite fun, it gives you a chance to run your horse and shows you what you can do. I disagree! - Dressage is more fun than Western

Depends on the type of western sport, but Dressage is kind of boring. It's really just pattern work. A lot of the high level horses are also very abused. - Riding on the beach is fun . *Edit, I posted a little late so I rewrote my post* Edited at April 8, 2023 04:16 PM by Wild Winnie Equine

It is super fun! (With the Dressage thing... I know it is horrible what the people do to their horses. I meant fun Dressage like I do. My horse is 22 now and it helps him stay in amazing shape, and we both enjoy it!) - Geldings are more fun than mares (if you don't like sassiness and getting bucked off)

We don't have any beaches around here so I wouldn't know - Chocolate palominos are the prettiest

Grullos and buckskins are better! They are amusing to look at! - It's kind of fun when a horse rears up 😅

Yes as long as you're expecting/prepared for it lol - Appaloosas > Paints

Er... I have to disagree.. I've fallen off many times when a horse hasn't reared up. (Granted they try to flip over in me, twirl around, and they bucked before so I'm just hanging off the horn at this point XD) Edit: oops I'm late. Errr paints are a little better. I dim the like either that much lol Edit 2: I forgot to add a question... - Training a baby horse is very fun (baby as in under 2 years) but getting their hooves done for the first time is just hilarious Edited at April 8, 2023 05:09 PM by Wild Warmbloods

Absolutely agree; I love seeing the progression you've made when looking back, I got my mare when she was 10 months old for 5k and she wasn't even halter broke (idk what I was thinking lol) but now she's bombproof and I can do anything with her. - Thoroughbreds shouldn't be raced at such young ages
