Just wanted to add some personal statistics I've decided to track for informational purposes. As mentioned before, I explore a LOT. I try to be as diligent as possible and come back every 30 minutes that I remember to, going through as many horses as I can, starting with my E and W rated horses first before going through my Ps. I don't even bother with anything below that, mostly because I don't even get through most of my Ps. By my count, on average, and assuming I'm as being as diligent as I can be, I get through about 12 horses this way which is about 6 hours worth of exploring.
It's also worth noting that I explore fast. I don't know if anyone else does this, but I usually just spam click the explore button as fast as I can without bothering to care about which interaction button is the most effective for any particular encounter. This does mean my horses spook a lot more, which is why even with me being at the top of the leaderboard in exploring level, my horses usually aren't at the very top for the individual horse leaderboards.
All this is to say that with my method, so far I've seemingly managed to earn way more EBs in explore than anyone else. So far this month I've managed to earn almost 40k ebs after just 12 days and I'm currently top of the leaderboard by about 14k. I'm also top explorer thus far by 2 levels. I don't remember what my EBs count was for last month, but I did get #1 top explore EBs earned and was only #6 top explorer.
I don't know how many EBs this compares to people who primarily do showing and/or selling, but maybe these statistics can help people decide whether or not exploring is worth it. In my opinion, it is :)
