He walks pretty well, but as soon as there's a toy involved, it's a few good leaps and then a casual *flop*

I certainly think it's goofy, honestly. He's a sweetheart. CH hasn't slowed him down, despite how wobbly he is. Chased around a little spring toy earlier, like a dork. I wonder if that's why he named him it, really

@Versa, yeah, I was just trying to think of names that are similar because maybe you could transition him. Naming him is something you will have to think about though. I'm not sure Oliver really responds to his name.

@Versa, it kind of sounds like Skittles. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Or you could name him Skeeter.
Versailles

I am honestly unsure. This tabby is registered as the name Sketti, certainly not a name I'd have chosen. But he's responsive to it and all of his veterinary records are registered under it, so perhaps I'll keep it and warm up to it?

@Versa, awww. I'm glad you could still adopt a cat! Are you still thinking of going with the name Valentine?

well, that's good

Revel,
Yes! I trust he's in a loving, happy home. Since this tabby struggled for two years, I figured he finally deserved a stable home.

Eury,
For sure! He's already very opinionated, lol. Walks up to me and lets out this "MEOW" when he thinks he requires love.

Revel,
Nah. Since the baby above has been looking for a home for two years, I adopted him instead of the other little one. Baby Ray is going to stay living with his foster mother.

Oh wait, I think I understand now. So you got this other guy instead?

@Versa, so you got two cats? =o

Revel,
Baby Ray's mother was in pieces. So, I adopted the baby above. He's got CH, wobbly cat syndrome if you recognize that name better.

@Versa, uh oh! What happened? Hopefully a good one!

I was just curious how my fellow HEEers organize their books on their shelves. :)
I personally do mine by genre, then size inside the genre, then alphabetical by author in the size. I also have my hardbacks on their own shelf and my paperbacks on the rest. My read books are on their own shelf also and just organized by size. I am not one to keep already read books unless I have a genuine connection with the story.
I have tried doing mine by color, but I am limited to having one book shelf, so for one I have to many books on it to do it very well and I don't have enough to have every color.

Poll Question: How do you sort your books?
Total Votes: 16
Genre : 16%
Rainbow/Color : 213%
Alphabetical Author : 638%
Size : 00%
Combo : 425%
Other : 319%

You have cast your vote.

Not only do I do genre, but then it's by Author, and then size since some of my bookcases won't hold coffee table size books lol
Most of mine I would say are historical, but I NEVER throw away a book with info , or a classic. In fact, I think I have all of mine since I only get ones I know I'll read. I can read a fiction novel every 10 years and still enjoy it since I forgot what it's all about LOL

Most of mine are series, so I go in chronological order. The other ones are more or less random where they go lol. If I have multiple from one author, they'll go together but that's about as far as I go on that

First/top shelf: My favourite series. Ex. Harry Potter, Eragon, Hunger Games, my SJM books, etc.
Second shelf: second favourite series
Third shelf: My 30+ warrior cats books from when I was a kid 🤣, plus Narnia and a few other small series
Fourth shelf: Assorted fiction, all organized by author last name. (A>Z)
Fifth shelf: All my horse books (in no particular order), or any other large books that don't fit on the smaller shelves above.

Lol I am also collecting all the warriors series. I have like 3 or 4 of them so far, but I only ever read the first two so I am trying to get them all and read them in order. I also have the first series of the survivors and seekersm which I have never read, but those are all on their own small shelf in my bedroom. :)
