I got the vaccine. I got COVID before the vaccine was out and it was the sickest I've ever been, I was almost hospitalised. After getting the vaccine I caught COVID again and it was just like a bad cold. I view it like a flu shot, why risk it when there's an accessable vaccine out there? That's my opinion on it 🙂 I never have and probably never will be an antivaxxer

Covid? No. I am so damn glad I didn't! My husband, mother and I all got sick with covid and they were 99% sicker than I was. They have both had the vaccine. My husband only had one dose, unsure how many mum had. I was pregnant when the vaccine came out and I outright refused to have it after hearing that it cause other people to have miscarriages... Very glad I refused. My husband and mum only had the vaccine because the hospital told them that if they did not then they would not be allowed to see me in hospital when bubs is born. They apprentley needed at least two doses before allowed in. Fast forward... I was put in for an emergency c-section and they were allowed in. Husband was by my side during the CS and mum was in the private room waiting. Mum asked about the vaccine and was told multiple times by different doctors, nurses, staff etc that they didn't even need one dose in order to be in there for me as support! So that's my take on it. I also didn't get it. Too much conflicting information and I didn't like how people reacted to it. I felt people were too pushy and manipulative with it. Got covid twice unvaccinated(caught it from vaccinated people) and it was like a bad cold for me so I don't have any regrets not taking it. That being said I don't think getting it is wrong just wasn't the best option for me.

I had all the vaccinations for Covid due to health issues and was pregnant at the time. I have caught covid only once and it was like a mild cold for me, my partner had it before me (I caught it off him lol) and he was nearly hospitalised. (He did not have any of the covid vaccinations)

I didn't trust it came out too quickly and was oddly forced on people. I don't even get a flu shot anymore, it would always get me sick. I haven't had the flu since I last got the vaccine. I had covid once and it was pretty mild worst thing was no smell.

I got mine and so did my husband as he's immune compromised and was a high risk of fatality if he contracted covid without the vaccine.

Personally, no. There were too many things that didnt add up about the covid vaccine.. how quickly it came out, how little testing was actually done on it, and now all the health problems that its being proven to cause? Ill take getting some viral infection every year over the long lasting effects it had proven to have. But I respect anyones reasons for getting it. Others have their reasons for getting, just the same as I have my own for not getting it. 🤍 Edit to add, that I have personally watched family members get hit worse with covid AFTER the vaccine, rather than before. Strep hits me worse than covid ever did. Edited at October 28, 2024 12:43 PM by Foggy Forest Stables

My doctor went to school for like 12 years, put herself into crippling student debt to do it, practiced medicine with a hard-earned license for another couple decades, and came to me with the informed opinion that it would be best for not only my health but the health of those around me for me to be vaccinated. No conspiracy theory crap that I read on the internet is going to negate that. I am vaccinated against COVID and all other preventable diseases. So is my son. I like us both being alive, yeah?

Right here. The reason it was able to come out so quickly is because they had been working on MRNA vaccines since the 1970s! They were first tested in 2013 against rabies, and they made a breakthrough using the advancement of technology in order to use it for COVID vaccines today. Just because it was so quick to come out does not mean that they cut corners, it means that they had every scientist in the world looking for the vaccine as well as billions of dollars to do it. Many scientists dont have big enough teams or enough funding, which is why research can take a long time. Edited at October 28, 2024 02:27 PM by Sagebrush
