Warning; Contains possibly sensitive topics such as sacrifice and fire. . . . The Sun set and the bold full Moon rose, it was time. Like every year the Village held the sacrifice where everyone gathered to witness as the chosen one danced upon the flames to be carried away with the Spirits. Silk draped over their bodies glinting in the moonlight the chosen sacrifice stepped up towards the swaying flames as the spirits gathered around dancing with them, the blazing flames danced against their skin as they moved with purpose and grace. Stepping into the beckoning inferno the Spirits danced along the chosen keeping the Bad Spirits away as they joined them keeping the Village in harmony, Their bodies moving in synchrony as their figures faded away with the night. |
