I’m no expert and I think it was around the beginning of April when I got serious. I just came back in March. But I’m happy with how it is now and I can afford to grow and nicer things :)

is there a guide somewhere I can read? I have tried in the past to understand some guides but it hasn't stuck

I still don’t know how honestly, I just wing everything and enter those in the green etc 😂 re enter everyone once a week to see who’s in the green. And I am sure there are better ways but it works for me

Ive been playing for 14 years and only in the past few years since the cap did I learn finally how to show.

Luna, at least there were people to guide you and help you learn how. I do enjoy how helpful the community is here <3

my showing is finally bringing me consistent money every month, enough to make a difference. breeding only seems to cost me, my broodmares only bring a tiny bit in so I show them too. I only have 200 something horses though, need to buy another 100 stall gelding barn

I absolutely struggled with learning how to show though. Its why for years I stuck to colour breeding. I tried and tried and tried and my Audhd brain couldn't grasp it. But After the cap I had to get help learning how and had a few people break it down for me in a way I could understand it.

I’m thankful for showing even with the cap on it. I know since a week ago I’ve saved 600k for RO, paid 220k to riders, and still bought a 50 stall barn so that’s not bad. I don’t think I ever make anything off of ratings unless it’s a cheap WWW colt I sell lol

Luna yeah that’s what happens when people abuse it like you said. Sad for the smaller stables. I love color horses but like you say, don’t usually make anything from them sadly

But its not been all bad. It helped me breed my first WWW PON colour babies so theres that

Fang, My whole breeding program had to change because of the cap. Since then Ive incorporated ratings into my colour program because subsubsub wasnt making me anything. The only money I got from them was the occasional horse sale and freeing dud foals. Since then Ive had to learn to show to survive

Yeah I know. I am sure it was a nice way to get extra ebs for RO and things. I’m just glad to have the extra 100k to toss some of my extra girls at whatever

There were some that free ranged thousands or hundreds at least of horses a month...some of the bigger accounts. I never did that crazy. But I did free range a few hundred from breeding each month. Still do...just not earning anything from it now

Not everyone "abused" it. I have my own personal opinion on that but oh well
