witch hazel is better since it's not as harsh as rubbing alcohol, but rubbing alcohol will do in a pinch

To me, it looks the heavy version of homozygous dun (DD).
Here is my homo dun girl who you can see the same heavy dun on, just hidden a bit beneath her splash & roan: link.
