Appearance: Kahlena has dirty blonde hair, the curls reaching her shoulder blades. Her eyes are almost a sea green color and are surrounded by thick eyelashes that are completely natural. She has a bit of an hourglass shape in her 5'4 frame.

Personality: Kahlena is quiet and very rarely goes up to someone just for the fun of it when she is at home. She usually is found reading a book or watching a rom-com. Her personality completely changes when she gets behind the counter of her business, Sweetness Awaits. She turns into a friendly face and has become friends with some of the regular customers. She does, however, become friendly and hyper at home when she is around the right people and has opened up to them. She isn't exactly shy, but she doesn't go around telling everyone her secrets. Kahlena isn't intimidated easily but she doesn't have enough of a back bone to go up to someone and confront them.

Occupation: Sweetness Awaits is a small business candy shop that Kahlena started up when she was 19.

"May I come in?" A feminin voice spoke, muffled by the spruce door leading to an office, Cole turned his head, annoyence soured his features, "You may." Slowly his secritary opened the door, As she walked towerds him she made sure to keep her gate short strided and even, or he would notice and call her out on ANOTHER thing she did wrong. Cole lifted his head and let his raven black hair fall in his eyes. The secritary only had news about income and taxes, wich he wasint quite in the mood for at the moment. He smiled at her and signeled for her to leave. Once the door clicked shut, He slumped back in his chair, rubbing the back of his neck, a habit he had picked up from his father when stressed. He had been up all night, trying to fight off bigger parent companies trying to sneak in his funding. It was now 7:30 Am And sleep threatened to overcome him. He slowly walked back to his truck and grabbed a pair of cargo pants and a te-shiert. After going back inside and changing, He mad his way down the street, it was now 8:25 Am And people where bustiling to work or school. Off to the side he spotted a small candy shop, And grinned at the many kids lined up outside, he continued on his way down to the coffee shop.

Kahlena kept a bright smile on her face as children pointed at candy and pulled on their parents shoulders, begging for some candy. Some of their parents went to the back of the store and picked some cookies while the kids roamed around the buckets of candy. A group of teens came in and grabbed scoops, putting tons of different flavors into bags. They walked to the counter and weighed their candy bags. Kahlena took their bags of candy and put them in a more secure carrier bag then handed them back to the teens, waving them off after they paid. After the rush of people left, Kahlena took a deep breath and settled back in a chair behind the counter. She watched as her favorite customer came in. "Hey Kay" the woman said. The child in her arms yawned then snuggled against her chest. "Hey Michelle. How's Daniel?" Kahlena came around the counter and gently stroked the child's head. "He's okay. He's busy with work so he doesn't see Hunter much. He does get to see him at night though" Michelle looked down at her child and handed him over to Kahlena. Kay gazed down at the sleeping Hunter in her arms. "I'm so happy for you Michelle. I bet Daniel is proud to be a father" the woman smiled "he is. So much. I miss being at school though. Being a mother is so hard" she sat down in the chair behind the counter and leaned back. Kahlena handed Hunter back to his mother then smiled. "It wasn't even that fun. How do you miss it? I mean getting to party and hang with friends was fun but not fun enough to make me want to go back." Kahlena shook her head then put her hands in her hips, watching as a mother and her child walked by, the child pointing at the candy in the window. Michelle stood and walked back toward the door. "I need to go. I'll see you tomorrow, Kay" the two women hugged each other then Michelle opened the door and left. Kahlena sighed.

Cole briskly walked down the sidewalk, Keeping time with his ticking watch. He slowed as he came closer to the coffee shop, and slipped inside to grab something to eat and drink. He avoded eye contact with as many people as possible. He saw out of the corner of his eye, a lady heading his derection, he sighed. She walked up to him and batted her eyelashes, clearly about to try something, he waved her off and maneged to slip closer to the counter, avoiding a conversashon with the stranger. He asked for a hot latte, and sat down, listing to the morning bustle in the streets. Across the road, there was a barber, a small drug store, and a little candy shop, that looked a quiet out of place in a town like this. Slowly he got up, threw away his cup, shot a warning glance to the women, who was now flirting with the male barista, and slipped back into the streets. She smell of autum, mixed with drugs, smoke, gas, himidity, hit him like a wave. He worked his way accros the street, intending to head back to his car, but found himself walking towerds the candy store, his sweet tooth had gotten the better of him. He second he walked through the open door's, the whole atmisphere changed, instead of a heavy musty smell wafting through the air, a sweet light fragrence linged around the store, lightening the mood. After walking around a bit he spotted a small box of carmels, his favorite, and headed towerds the counter. He spotted a women, just over twenty he assumed, behind the counter, he waited till she was done speaking to another customer, then walked up, "Hey." His voice had a gravily edge, but anywone could tell in that moment he was being as nice as possible. People who challenged him, or hurt anywone he cared about, wouldent have the mercy of that restrante. Without making eye contact, he slid his card through the regester, and payed, only then did he lift his head and looked her in the eye's. He felt like everything around him disappered when he looked into her sea green eye's., The color danced through them, like crashing waves on a rolling sea, but it was peaceful. his own vilot eye's almost glowed. He shook his head, her employe tag read "Kahlena", he flashed her a grin, and turned to leave, "Nice to meet you." He turned and walked down the road, extreamly confused as to what happened. It was only when he hoped in his car that he relized he had left the carmals on the counter, "Better head back later to pick them up."

Kahlena looked down at the counter and frowned for a second before her usualy cheery smile returned. She grabbed a nearby rag and wiped the glass clean. "Hello, sir." She greeted to the man who came to the counter. "Oh! Caramel! Great choice" she pressed a few buttons and bagged the candies up and placed them back on the counter. When she looked up she made eye contact with the customer. Her breath hitched in her throat and it was as if she had been sucked into his stare. She had not signed up for a split second staring contest so she broke looked away first. Kahlena had noticed the bag on the counter as he had made his way through the door. "sir, you left your... caremels" She sighed and placed them behind the counter and put a sticky note on the bag. Hold she wrote in her signature fancy lettering that she used on every paper. Her eyes glamced around. She was in a daze until lunch, her mind wandering to the mysterious man.
