Colette could be heard crying on the other end of the phone, her heart torn in two. "You hit me.. Screamed at me.." she sobbed, only to quiet when she heard a knock at her bedroom door. A back and forth could be heard before the shattering of a bottle and Collie yelling for someone to get out and leave her alone. She wasn't in a good state, and despite everything he was all that she wanted.

"Colette?!" Kai said frantically, calling her name over and over into the phone. "I'm coming" he promised, hanging up and tracking her phone. He pulled up and hopped out of the car, gun loaded and in his hand as he was prepared to kill whoever harmed his girl....or whatever she was now.... He was silent going up the stairs and to the bedroom before turning the corner into the room and cocking the gun. "Get the fuck away from her. Now. " He demanded, his voice low and dangerous -dripping with promises of death

Colette had dropped her phone, the argument ensuing as Kai made his promise to come to her. When he arrived, a feisty, extremely drunk Colette was cornered by one of her father's men. He had been sent to check on her and to get her to quit drinking her day away, but she didn't take nicely to his approach. He wanted to force her and grab her, but Colette was quick to start fighting and throwing things at him, including an empty vodka bottle, which was now shattered on the floor. There was a small blood trail too, indicating that someone, Colette, had stepped on glass while barefoot.
"I'd listen to him, Victor- He sounds almost as mean as I am right now~" she hissed, looking up from where she was crouched. Victor, one of her guards, was quick to listen since he'd heard the gun cock. The man raised his hands up, backing away from the feral Colette. "You deal with her then. She's fucking crazy right now," he growled, obviously irritated as he started to try and leave. He didn't seem to care that Kai was so infuriated by the way he'd been treating Colette, who seemed to have been roughed up a little.

As soon as the man left the room, Kai holstered his gun onto his hip and walked to Colette. "Colette.....I'm so sorry.....Please, forgive me..." He pleaded, taking her face into his hands. "I love you so much....please, baby..."

Colette flinched and cowered when Kai reached for her face, her chest heaving in a deep breath as she watched him with a guarded expression. She felt a wetness streaming down her face once more, her lips quivering as she fought with herself internally. She wanted to both sink into his arms and scream at him to get away, but at the same time she just wanted to sink and cry and drink like she had been for the past couple of days. "I love you..." she whispered, the words choked and tearful as she watched him, her shaky hands grasping his gently. She wanted to forgive him, but it would take time for her to forget, if she ever could...

"I love you too.....More than I should..." He said softly, kissing her cheek and gazing into her half-crazed eyes. "Baby, do you still want me to be here when your father sees me?" He asked, his own phone buzzing with the word 'Father' imposingly on the screen.

Colette groaned softly, her body slumping gently into his in the pursuit of warmth and much needed comfort, no matter how mad she might be. "I don't care if he sees us together, if that's what you're asking.." she murmured, words still slurred. Who knew how much she'd drank. It was an honest miracle she was even still standing. "I.. don't think I want youu to leave.."

He chuckled and scooped her up bridal style before carrying her to the bed and laying her down. He tucked the covers over her gently and laid down bside her. He sighed, refusing to relax with the fear of a fight between him and her father. The man scared Kai, to be completely honest, and he was surprised to be still be alive as he muted his phone's notifications from hs father
