Axel just watched him closely until he drifted off, settling down with a sigh himself. He didn't sleep, just relaxed there beside him.

Duncan slept for a long while before waking a few hours later. "Mm... hi,"

Axel peered over at him with a small smile. "Hey," he noted softly. "Feel better?"

Duncan nodded, "Yeah," he murmured sleepily.

Axel smiled softly, shoulders relaxing slightly when he confirmed he felt better after the rest. "Good," he noted. "Are you hungry or anything? You were out for a while," he added.

Duncan shook his head, "No, I'm okay," he hummed.

Axel nodded, pecking his forehead gently. "Ok," he noted quietly, not wanting to break the stillness within the room.
