-Prince x Assassin -Assassin is told to bring the Prince back to the Guild. -The longer that they both hang out since the Prince can't do much in his cell, that harder it is for the assassin to watch him suffer. -Assassin eventually lets the prince out, but then it gets found out by the assassins master. With being found out, the assassin gets wounded. -After he is wounded, assassin leaves and the prince eventually finds him and helps him get back to health. -Assassins master thinks he owns him and the assassin thinks that is how everything is due to him only knowing what he is given. The prince helps him realize that isn't right and shows him the true meaning of friendship, love, and whatnot. -Slow burn romance with fantasy. -Prince not quite sure how he feels about liking other men and has a hard time coming to terms with it. Aziel Cree Storm "I'm like a giant stuffed teddy bear, but with feelings and a warm, caring heart." | Nicknames | Az, Azzy | Age | 23 | Gender | Male | Role | Prince | Kingdom | Zariya | Species/Ability | Elf // Darkness Manipulation | Personality | Trusts Too Fast // Loyal // Sweetheart // Truthful // Lends Shoulder To Cry On // Do Anything For His People // Bubbly // Kind // Sarcastic // Jokester // Flirt // Blunt // Silver-Tongued // Knowledgeable // Passionate // Protective "I can't do anything right. Why? Please tell me why. I don't understand." | Appearance | Aziel stands at 6'0 with semi-broad shoulders. He has a beige complexion with warm undertones, which only seem to get darker when he spends outside. He certainly has freckles, but they only litter the bridge of his nose and on his cheeks under his eyes. Much like his skin tone, they get darker the more time that he spends outside. He has round eyes, having them be rather unique since he has only met a handful of other people with the same eye genetics as him. He has heterochromatic eyes, having his right be a candy apple green and the left being hazel, almost like honey. These heterochromatic eyes are framed with thick, long eyelashes. His hair is thick and semi-curly, having it be the color of a raven's feather with what seems to almost be violet highlights when the sun hits it. It is quite interesting since it is a drastic changed from his bright heterochromatic eyes. He usually keeps it short where it is short on the sides but a bit longer on top where, at times, hangs in his eyes. There are rare times he has it longer, like the winter to help keep him warm. It usually goes to his shoulders during this time, but he will never let it grow longer than that. Though, he never lets his bangs get too long as they only tend to get in his way and distract him. His hair does seem messy, but he hardly ever fixes it as it only compliments him. He has chiseled cheekbones with a heart-shaped face. He always sports a clean-shaven look to where he hardly ever has hair on his jaw. There will be the occasional time where he will have stubble, but it will only be there for a couple of days before he ends up shaving it off. He just isn't really a fan of beards. His physique is ectomorph, yet he leans more towards the muscular side of the radar. He just isn't that overboard muscular as to him, he doesn't find that attractive. He definitely works out a lot whether it be sword fighting, running, or even just horseback riding. Though, he tends to travel a lot, so that always helps. He has a straight nose and semi-full light coral lips with dimples on both cheeks. They are noticeable when he doesn't smile but more so when he smiles. He does have a few piercings. He has a silver hoop on bilateral ears. Of course, like anyone, he has scars. He has one on the left side of his face, having three scars start from above his brow, over his eye, and ends down at his jaw. Surprisingly, his eyesight is still there and wasn't injured when he got attacked by a bear in the woods. He has another that wraps around his left ankle, something he got when he stepped in a snare trap intended for small prey. Granted, it didn't do much damage and he couldn't be more grateful for that. Of course, he has many more, but those are all small and not as important. His clothing is nothing but exquisite and elegant, especially with the beautiful red, orange, and yellow tones. Though, he doesn't always wear those clothing as it just means he stands out. If anything, he wears less elegant clothing, almost something a commoner would wear. Even though it bothers his father and some of the court members that he wears such things, he doesn't care. He only wears the clothing he should on important occasions. Name: Sage Acker Age: 20 years Gender: Male Appearance: Long black hair that ends at around his waist, normally done in an elaborate style. His eyes are a golden amber color, and his skin is a dark tan. He has some scars on his back from various punishments from his time serving various people, as well as a scar on his right cheek from a dagger years ago. He has various tattoos as well (the most noticeable ones are a dragon behind his left ear and a tribal sort of tattoo sleeve on his right arm), along with plenty of piercings (mainly his ears, but he does have a lip ring in the center of his lower lip as well). His build is slim but athletic, and while he's fairly short (about 5’3”) he can hold his own in a fight. His ears end in the pointed tips of the wood nymphs, courtesy of his mother (his father was human, his mother a nymph from the forest on the island where Sage hails from). This nymph nature also gives him almost ethereal features: sharp, and striking, with both a delicate and smooth but powerful and strong movement of his body that is natural to him. As for clothing, he's dressed for the job - a lot of black colors, combat boots, and plenty of weapons (both visible and hidden)....even his hair pin in secretly a lock pick. He normally also has jewelry. Personality: Sage is pretty cautious/untrusting, and outwardly he shows the traits drilled into him by his captors - he is quiet, and keeps his head down, though when on a job he puts on a bolder front, since that's often required as an assassin. This arrogant style is an extreme version of his natural sassy/sarcastic but loyal personality. He doesn't really fight back against thr man in charge of him any more (Casper), since being submissive has normally gotten him better responses than otherwise. After years of forced servitude, he resembles a typical well trained servant when around them - broken and willing to do as asked. Once he's free of those burdens, though, he does have a sense of humor and tends to be sarcastic. He's fairly quick to anger, though over the years he's learned to control his temper well and keep a good poker face and fake a smile. He is extremely loyal, so once someone earns his trust, he becomes quite attached. Backstory: Sage was given away by his father when he was quite young. He was glad to rid of the man, since he was always drunk and angry, and some of the scars on his back come from his belt. Things weren't any better in the people he was sold to, however, as his new job wasn't exactly pleasant. The man in charge of him (Casper) is technically his boyfriend, though sage feels no real love towards the man, only an accepted type of attraction. He grew to like the job too, on a way, since the adrenaline rush of a fight and the nerves of the job are what make him feel alive. Not to mention it's the only time he's allowed out of the place he and Casper reside at. (Done! If there's anything else you're curious about or want me to add lmk!)

Aziel looked at himself in the mirror, his brows furrowed together. His fingers delicately ran over the scars on the left side of his face, hating how careless he was that he ended up getting wounded and he has to see it everyday as a reminder of his stupidity. He knows he shouldn't be ashame of it and no one would've known that this would've happened, unless they could see the future. Then again, had he used his ability, this would've nevered happened in the first place either. Though, he hated it and he doesn't use it often, so it isn't surprising that he didn't end up using it to help him escape an accident that could've killed him. It made him look more rugged in his opnion, but it didn't stop him from still being kind and sweet to whoever he meets. He knows that sometimes when people get scars like this, they change for the worse, but not him. There wouldn't be a point to that. He let a sigh escape his lips as he moved away from the mirror and towards the double doors that lead to the balcony overlooking the garden. He pushed the doors open, his hands resting on the railing, his gaze passing over some guards and maids walking through the garden. He insisted when he got his own room that it would be above or by the garden. He loves flowers and they redmind him of his sister. It's been a few years since she passed away, but he thinks about her everyday. She helped him make the garden and tend to it whenever he couldn't. Now, he does tend to it but not as much as he used to. Sometimes it is so hard to go down there and walk among the many flowers as it makes the ache in his chest hurt even more. If he could've taken her place, he would've done it in a heartbeat, not caring how it would affect everyone else. Sure, he knows he is the favorite since he is the youngest, but he wouldn't have cared. She deserved to live out her life as long as she was able to and have kids. Now that she is gone and his parents can't trust his older brother to rule, he is next in line to take over the kingdom. He hates his brother for that as he should've been reliable and mature enough to take over, not him. He shook his head, his gaze pulling away from the garden and to the town beyond the walls. He will be going into town today, greeting the normal vendors on the streets as well as the new ones. He always likes to spend time with the kids for a bit, knowing that they always look forward to when he swings by. He always brings them little gifts varing from items from the vendors to pieces of gold. He even gives the parents some gold too, which they appreciate. His parents know that he ends up giving away gold, but they don't seem to care that much. They aren't as just and caring as he is, but they have enough kindness in their hearts that they don't care that some gold goes missing. He walked back into his bedroom, keeping the doors open to let in a little bit of fresh air into the room. He grabbed his sword and strapped it to his waist, already dressed for his day out in town. He just wore a pair of plain black trousers, red tunic, boots, and a black cloak over his shoulders. He hates wearing the over expensive and exquisite clothing that he tends to wear what commoners would for the most part. There also is no need for him to put the hood on since everyone knows who he is and is always kind to him. He hasn't had very many issues with his people and the few times he did, they were complete misunderstandings. He walked down the halls, greeting everyone he passes by with a small smile. Instead of taking his horse, he is just going to walk as it would be easier and there is a less opportunity to hit someone on accident. Once he got to the gates, he politely asked the guards to open the gate, which he walked through once they opened them enough for him to slip out. He kept his hand on the hilt of his sword because he can never be too cautious for danger that could be lurking in the shadows. It just made him feel a bit safer. Sure, he could have guards with him, but he always told them to stay back at the castle as he doens't have issues with anyone. "Good morning, Kathleen." He greeted as he came up to his favorite vendor. He glanced at the various assortment of spices that were on display, his mouth watering with what he could make with them. "How is it fairing this morning?" He asked as he grabbed a container and read the ingredients. "Any new spices that you have today?" She smiled up brightly at him, the salt and pepper hair pulled tight up in a bun. "Good morning, Prince Aziel. It's been going fairly well this morning. Been decently busy." She said as she moved about to grab something. "You are in luck. I do have a few new spices that I put off to the side in hopes that you would stop by today." She reached over the cart and handed him a couple of spices. "It's on the house, dearie." He grabbed them from her, shaking his head as he did. "You know I can't do that." He reached into his pocket and took a couple of gold coins out and handed them to her. "I really insist since you are my favorite afterall." He said as he winked at her as she took the coins from him. "I'll see you next time!" He walked down the road, stopping at a few vendors to either see what they had or stop and grab some things either for him or for the kids that he is about to go visit. He loves going into town and seeing his people and greeting them. He does tend to get overwhelmed in large crowds, so he tends to avoid them as much as possible. He don't mind if it is a small crowd, but larger ones give him anxiety. He feels too claustrophobic, making it feel like someone is closing in on him to try and take a swipe at him. Once he came to the alleyway that he takes as a short cut to the kids school, he stopped. He glanced around, making sure that no one was really paying attention to him that he was about to leave the sight of multiple witnesses in case something were to happen. He glanced down the alleyway, hesitating as he had a feeling in his gut that something bad was going to happen. He looked up in the sky, seeing that it was getting a little later and the kids were probably about to go into class and learn some lessons. He knows if he takes the long way around, he would be late and would have to come back later. Going this way guarantees that he will make it there soon before they have to head into the classroom. He took a deep breath before he finally started walking down the way, his hand resting tightly on the hilt of his sword. He has a feeling that he might regret going this way for once today. "Be quick and silent."

Sage's boots made no sound on the hard floors of the castle as he slipped through the hallways, moving quickly towards the room where his own master awaited him. Well...it was an odd sort of relationship, since Casper was the head of the guild and therefore his master of sorts, but they were also a couple, and had been for a while. It wasn't the healthiest relationship, but in some twisted manner, over the years Sage had come to love him. Deep down, he knew he should run as far away from Casper as possible but...well, he loved him. He could forgive him for the yelling and the hitting. After all, he did a lot of good for him, and it would be rude for him to leave. Casper may be ruthless, and treat him badly, but he wasn't entirely unfair. Most of the time it was Sage's own fault for messing up a job. He paused before opening the door to Casper's room, nerves jumping around slightly as they always did when he neared Casper's vacinity. It was odd, how he could be scared for his own safety and love the other man at the same time. he pushed those thoughts away for now, though, slipping through the door, sliding his normal expressionless mask over his face to hide his nerves. "You called," he asked quietly, not wanting to disturb Casper. He knew better than to do that. He halted a few paces away from the desk the larger man was sat at, automatically staying out of arm's reach. He knew now was not one of the times where he could cuddle in and such. Casper barely sent a glance his way, gesturing vaguely towards a file on his desk. "New mission," he noted bluntly, adding a sharp "don't mess it up, it's important," onto the words. Sage swallowed dryly, approaching the desk slowly, and with caution, before opening the file and skimming through it. "You want me to kidnap...the prince," he noted with surprise, sort of instinctually flinching away as Casper stood up from where he was sitting. "Yeah," he noted. "Or can you not handle that big of a job," he added in a definitely condescending tone, arms crossing in front of his chest. Sage just backed away further, jaw hardening slightly as he moved towards the door, file in hand. "No," he noted, trying not to let neither his frayed nerves nor his newfound anger bubble up and into his tone. "I'll get it done." Casper just nodded with a grunt, moving on to grab a bottle of liquor from the side desk, settling down at his desk again as he poured himself a glass. "Get going then," he noted, sipping at the drink as though nothing about this bothered him. Sage left the room quickly, letting out a heavy breath once he was out of ear shot. He settled down outside, under a tree in one of the forest clearings surrounding their stronghold. He always felt better out in the woods - likely because of his mother, who was a wood nymph. He'd much rather be out here than in there. Alas, that wasn't how the world worked. But he could get out here sometimes, and he always appreciated it when that was the case. He read through the file a bit mroe carefully...Casper wanted the prince scared but alive, and not hurt enough to die on him anytime soon. It pulled a groan from Sage, who knew it wasn't going to be very easy to just kidnap the heir to the throne. There'd be bodyguards, and he might be in the castle, and someone would notice. They'd be looking for him quickly, too, with an entire militia out for blood. He knew there was no sense in sitting around worrying about it though, so he moved to gear up, a few other men joining him as he started to strap on weapons and a black bandana over his nose, covering most of his face. He pulled his hair back into a tight braid, double checking his weapons before moving out. He had to grab his horse, and slip on the stallion, as they were miles from the town outside the castle. It would take most of the day just to get there. Luckily, they didn't run into any trouble along the way, and they arrived in the city soon enough. They spread out, listening and watching for any sign of the prince. They were lucky, he supposed, to find him in town and not in the castle...and alone, no less. It was lucky enough that he paused on the rooftops, following and watching at a distance, making sure this wasn't a trap for them or...something. It was just odd, that's all. Eventually though, he knew they had to act if they wanted to catch him without being seen - he'd leave the alleyway soon, and it would be harder to catch him then. So, he motioned to the three other men nearby, waiting for them to drop down behind the prince. He moved to drop down in front of him, nearly brushing his chest with his own as he landed. The closeness was intentional....the prince jumped backwards, directly into the men who had come up behind him, each one grabbing an arm. Sage grinned, pulling out a small needle and injecting the liquid into the prince's arms. "Night night," he hummed lightly, knowing it would make the man pass out within seconds. Once that happened, he whistled for the horses, who moved into the alleyway, eager to run again. The prince was draped over the largest horse, and they mounted and took off again, back toward home. When he woke, he'd be in a cell somewhere, and Casper...well, Sage wasn't sure why Casper wanted the prince. It wasn't his place to ask. But he'd wanted him for something, and he'd collect one way or the other. He sort of felt bad for the guy - he'd seen and felt Casper's wrath first hand, and he wouldn't wish it on anyone. But that didn't stop him from carrying out an assigned mission. He knew better than to do that.

As Aziel expect, something bad happened. He should've just listened to his gut, but he was more in a hurry to get to the school than fearing for his safety. In all honesty, he doesn't care what happens to him. It would be better if someone else ended up taking the crown than him, maybe a new family that will be given a second chance in life. He knew his parents wouldn't allow that and it would be the last thing that they would do. Instead of finding someone else to be the new heir to the throne, they would make his brother, Oliver, take his place, much to their dismay. He knows if would be hard on his parents if he ended up dying just like it was hard on them when Ava died. He took a couple steps back when a man jumped down in front of him, his chest brushing against his. Before he could quickly take out his sword, two other men grabbed him by the arms and held him back while the man in front of him injected him with something. Before he could say or do anything else, he was out in seconds. Of course, all the days that he wanted it to be peaceful, he gets kidnapped. He doesn't even know why anyone would be interested in him, besides being the heir to the throne. He was the nicest, sweetest, and humble person out there. He just didn't understanding. ---- Aziel woke up a few hours later in a cell, his head throbbing somewhat. Whatever he was injected with, gave him a bit of a headache. Luckily it should hopefully wear off soon since he has a high metabolism thanks to being an Elf. Both his parents were woodland Elves, making him curious as to how they decided that they wanted to be in an area crowded with people when the woods and nature is where they belong. He never asked that as he didn't care that much since he was always one to slip out into the woods when he was younger and then would get in trouble for it later. He rubbed his temples, his jaw clenching slightly with annoyance with the situation that he is in. He never had guards come with him, as he is very talented with his swordmanship, always keeping up with it so he doesn't loose what he was taught. He was even better than the general of the army surprisingly enough, but he would never go around and brag about it to anyone. That would be fairly rude of him and would show that he thinks little of people, which is the opposite of his personality. They have always trusted that he would never get into a situation like this because there has never anyone that he has had an issue with. It just makes it bizzare that someone would want him kidnapped. He looked around the cell once he felt the headache slightly start to subside. There was a couple of bales of hay in the corner with a flimsy blanket on top of it as well as a basically flat as a plate pillow. There was bucket in the corner that he assumed would be his toilet since there was nothing else he saw in the cell that would indicate would be used as a toilet instead. His hands were shackled together, markings carved in the metal to prevent him from using his ability. Not that he would use it since he hates it with a passion. He guesses it is more for their comforance than his knowing that he wouldn't be able to us his ability against them. He will say that they are very well prepared, but their cell accomedations aren't the greatest. They could use some fixing up. Granted, had he not convinced his parents to have their cells be more comfortable for the prisoners, even if they might not deserve it, their cells would look the same. He wants the prisoners to be more comfortable, knowing that it would make them feel more at ease and more willing to talk. They do have a few cells that are just like this that they keep for the really terrible crimes that have been committed as they don't deserve to have the comfort of something when they will be hanged within the week. He patted himself down, an annoyed sigh leaving his lips when he didn't feel any of his weapons on him. He knows better that they would've taken them, but it would've been nice if just one of them was not found. Even the small dagger that he keeps strapped to the inside of his thigh was missing. That only made him shiver with nausea when he thought about them undressing and then dressing him again to take that away. He didn't like the feeling that someone undressed him when he was unconscious. At least they let him keep his cloak, espeically since fall is starting to come and it has been getting cooler at night lately. He stood up and made his way to the iron bars. He reached up and grabbed the bars, the jingling of the chains on his wrists echoing in the somewhat vaccent prison. Torches were lit along the walls, not showing much at all. He glanced left and right, seeing cells and a staircase that most likely lead up to the building above him. He wonders where they are, unsure what this place could be since he doesn't keep track of all the places around his castle like he should. He rested his head against the bars, his head aching a bit more with the movement of walking and then looking around. He should really just lay down on the hay bales until someone comes down and tells him what is going on. From not hearing anything in the prison or footsteps coming down from the stairwell, he didn't think anyone was coming anytime soon. He let a sigh leave his lips once again, knowing that that eventually his parents will send the militia out to figure out where he is. It might be a day or two before they have the militia start looking for him. Multiple times he has never came back the same day that he leaves the castle, which his parents soon accepted. They will think that he is either spending some more time in town or time in the forest before he returns home. Once they figure that he isn't home at this time tomorrow, he knows that they well send out a good chunk of the army to try and figure out what happened to him. This hasn't happened to him before and is sure that his parents are going to think that it is their fault even though it isn't. He rubbed his hands together as he turned around and leaned against the bars instead, staring up at the brick ceiling. It has clusters of moss here and there and sometimes water would drip down from them. Seems like he might be waking up every day damp to his bones. Great way to get sick too. Hopefully someone comes soon as he would really like to figure out what is going on. If anything, he is more bored and confused rather than scared. "Hello? Anyone out there to tell me what is going on?" Edited at June 16, 2026 11:01 PM by The Seven Sins

Sage and the men that were with him had ridden through the night just to get back home as quickly as possible. Not that he really called it home....but it was where he lived, so it was a home of sorts, he supposed. He wasn't sure what else to call it. Casper's home? Honestly he was too tired to think about it. They arrived back at the place near the start of dawn - maybe four or five in the morning. It had been a long past couple of days, but a glance back at the prince on the horse behind him made it feel like it was all worth it. he wasted no time in handing his horse off to the stable hand, witha few quick words to make sure the animal would be well cared for and settled into his stall and paddock properly. He normally would have done it himself, but he had a whole prince he needed to secure, so that was a little bit more important at the moment. The other men had left him by then, so it was up to him to drag the much bigger man all the way to their dungeon. He let out a grunt of effort as he tried to pull him over his shoulders, grumbling a fairly annoyed "Damn you and your fancy palace meals," he as went. It took him a decent while to even get down to the cell that had the cuffs made special for those with magic, considering the prince was both taller and heavier than Sage himself was. Even so, he managed it, wasting no time locking the chains onto the man and locking the cell door behind him. He made his way back to the part of the property they actually lived in, heading for Casper's office and knockign after a moment's heasitation. He slipped in when Casper called for him to do so, opening his mouth to speak. Before he could say anything, though Casper spoke up. "I take it you have the prince effectively secured in the proper cell," he asked, tone condescending. "yes, Casper," Sage noted, exhaustion evident in his voice and posture. "Good," Casper stated. "Go wash up. You look disgusting," he added. "I expect you to look presentable for dinner." He paused for a moment, finally glancing up at Sage. "Get going. You have an hour." Sage just nodded numbly and backed out the door, too tired to respond. Besides, he knew there was no use arguing with Casper - that would just result in an even worse situation for him. So, he moved back to the room they shared, numbly moving to climb into the shower and standing there under the warm water, letting out a breath of relief. It could have gone much worse, so he was thankful for that, at least. He didn't want to sped too much time in the shower though, since he knew Casper would want him dressed up and looking nice for the dinner. It was supposed to be a celebration of sorts - which meant he wanted Sage as decoration by his side. And probably a means of pleasure after the fact. He desprately wished that wasn't the case...he wanted to pass out and sleep all day and night. But that wasn't the case. So he washed off quickly, and had just braely enough time to dry his hair and style it, get dressed in the oufit casper liked most of him to wear to this sort of thing, and do his eyeliner and piercings. Everything was perfect - it had to be. Casper would accept nothing less. The dinner itself seemed to drag on forever....long hours of drinking and loud noises and crowds that were overwhelming enough for Sage to block most of it out of his mind. Luckily, Casper was too drunk to do much besides stumble over to his room and pass out of the bed. Sage was still too worked up about it to sleep, and too nervous Casper would wake up angry. so he decided to just go elsewhere. Checking on the prisoner seemed to be a good idea, so he moved towards the dungeons, ignoring the fact that it was raining a little bit. He was too tired to care if he got wet. As he entered the dungeons, he heard the voice coming from the cell, and groaned softly to himself before stepping forward and approaching the other man. "I think that's pretty obvious," he noted, voice quiet as he spoke. Honestly, he just knew Casper wanted him, not why. Not what was going to happen now. Maybe a ransom. He wasn't sure. "You're quite the prize, you know. And wandering off by yourself like that too," he shook his head, clucking his tongue slightly as if chiding the other man. "But foolish if you ask me. Those fancy weapons of yours only work if you have the time and the room to use them," he added, a small smirk forming on his face. It was mostly an act at this point - he just wanted to sleep, but knew he couldn't. Not with Casper like that. he needed to wait and make sure he was deep asleep when he came back. So, he could spend a few minutes here. At least he was sure the prince wasn't going anywhere.

Aziel perked up when he heard footsteps coming from the stairs. He turned around to see who was coming, his hands gently grasping the bars. When he saw the man who injected him with an unknown substance, a small frown appeared on his lips. He was hoping it was someone else, but perhaps he had some answers, since he was the one who kidnapped him to begin with. Now that nothing was going to happen at the moment that he knew of, he took a good look at his kidnapper. He had long hair that fell to his waist and was pulled back into a tight braid. He had some earrings that lined his ears, along with some eyeliner applied around his eyes. He had some nice clothing on that made him think that there must have been a party going on upstairs. He was quite a bit shorter than he was, his body a lot slimmer than his. He even had pointed ears, wondering what type of creature he could be. His eyes snapped up to the man’s once he started to speak. The man’s voice was rather soft, not what he was expecting when he spoke. He raised his brow when he said he should know. That it was even obvious. It was so far from obvious. If he knew that answer, he would’ve figured it out from the beginning and tried to figure his way out of here. He wonders if he is stalling and that is why he is saying that. Maybe he doesn’t know, and someone else is behind his kidnapping, and this man was just the person who got to him. Who knows what it could be. He doesn’t have issues with anyone, so he is at a loss as to what the reason is. If they want money, all they need to do is ask, and he would gladly give them as much as they desired. “I’m going to correct you for just a minute there.” He said as he shifted on his feet slightly. “If I knew it was obvious, I wouldn’t be asking such a stupid question.” He shook his head, his hair falling in his eyes. He reached up and brushed his hair out of the way. “You know, if you don’t know the reason why I am here, just say so. There is no need to beat around the bush.” He wanted to say it is just rude, but he bit his tongue back so that he doesn’t say something stupid. He rolled his eyes when he mentioned it was basically stupid that he was alone without anyone else around him. Why does everyone think that he should be protected and can’t protect himself? He glanced away from him, grumbling under his breath with annoyance. People think that they have everything figured out about him, but they don’t. It starts to annoy him when people think they know him well enough to predict what he will do and why he does the things he does. He hates when people think he is frail when he is the opposite of that. He just wishes that people would see him for who he is and not the Prince that he is. “Thank you for pointing out the obvious that I was by myself.” He said sarcastically as he rolled his eyes. “Did it ever occur to you that I like having my alone time and that I am good to my people?” He asked, his head tilting to the side slightly. “I might be a prince, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t defend myself. I have a feeling that had you not had your other goonies with you, it would’ve been a fair fight. I am not a frail damsel in distress type person that people think that I am.” He noticed that the man seemed tired. He would be too if he were in his shoes and tugging around a man as tall and heavy as himself. He turned on his heels and headed towards the hay bales. He took a seat, his back leaning against the wall. He crossed his feet at the ankles and then his arms over his chest, assessing the man outside of his cell door. He doesn’t seem to be interested in being down here very much, but there is something that is holding him back from going back upstairs. If he had to guess, it has to be that he is trying to avoid someone. “I don’t know why you bothered to even come down here when you don’t have the answers to the question that I have. It is rather… annoying to say the least.” He leaned his head back against the wall behind him, his eyes closing. He has a feeling that he is probably going to be doing a lot more sleeping until some that has answers comes down here. He truly isn't trying to be rude, but he sometimes tends to be impatient if someone can't give him answers to anything. He is usually kind and bubbly, but he isn’t really in the mood to be the nicest person right now. He should really try to be kind, but he is really having a hard time after getting drugged and then appearing in a cell in the middle of nowhere. That would make anyone grumpy, to say the least. “Since you seem to avoid going upstairs, make some conversation. I guess, tell me a little bit about yourself.” Edited at June 17, 2026 10:38 PM by The Seven Sins

Sage felt his eyebrows shoot upwards in surprise when the prince started talking back. Well, he wasn't surprised that he was talking, but more that he still didn't seem to be connecting the dots. Sure, it would seem a bit confusing, and he wouldn't know the exact details, but the fact that he was kidnapped and being kept here for something was obvious enough. "You were kidnapped. You were taken here. You were locked up until further notice. That about sums it up," he noted dryly, moving to wander closer to the cell, one slow footstep at a time. "The rest of it is fine details really. Wouldn't change anything for either of us to know." He realized a bit too late that he'd given away the fact that he also didn't really know anything, but he was more or less too tired to care. As the prince mentioned being good to his people though, he just gave him an unimpressed look, arms crossing over his own chest. "Just because you're good to people doesn't mean they're going to be nice to you," he noted with a slight frown appearing on his face. "The world likes to take people with philosophies like yours and chew them up and spit them out entirely worse for wear," he added. He didn't really give it away that he'd wanted to be kind to people and had similar thoughts about life at one point, but he had. And now? Well, it was pretty obvious how he viewed life now. The prince continued talking though, and his next comments pulled a slight chuckle past Sage's lips. "Goonies," he noted. "I suppose that's a good word for it, though they're not mine," he noted with a shake of his head. "I prefer working alone. If it had been the two of us, you'd have been worse off than that injection I was given to use," he noted, a darker tone lacing through his voice. "I don't know why they want you alive here," he mused after a moment, "But if i'd had may way you'd have been dead before you knew you'd been hit and your body would be in this cell." It was a bit blunt, and probably not phrased in the nicest manner but...he really didn't care. He wasn't here to be nice. He stared at Aziel for a moment when he offered simple conversation in response to his comments, not entirely sure how to proceed. "I should...head back to Casper," he noted after a moment, though his voice lacked the confidence it had earlier. The thought of going back to Casper made him nervous, he supposed, but staying here seemed odd too, and he did need to try and sleep some. So, he shifted to walk away, quicker than he really would have liked to...it didn't appear very confident, the way he practically fled the area. It didn't take him long to get back to Casper's room, nor did it take him long to wash the makeup off, take out the piercings that needed to be taken out, and change into pajamas. Thankfully, Casper was out cold as he slipped into the bed beside him, and he let out a breath of relief after a moment. Waking him up would have been a disaster. Even so, he cuddled in, unable to keep himself from doing so. Despite how Casper sometimes treated him, times like this were good. He was warm, and they were comfortable. It didn't take Sage long to pass out at all, nad he stayed that way until he was woken by a sharp nudge from Casper the next morning, grumbling something about getting breakfast. Sage didn't catch all of it, since he was still half asleep, but he got the gist of it. So, he moved to slip out of bed, shivering as the cold morning air hit him, and getting ready as quickly as he could before slipping out of the room and heading for the kitchens to bring up Casper his food.
