"Hi buddy!" Murphy jumped into Caden's arms and started licking him. "Did you miss me in the 20 minutes I was gone?" Caden looked over at Rosa. "Oh,yeah.This is Murphy.He's my biological son,don't ask." He put Murphy down allowing the dog to run at Rose.

"Is that possible?" SHe asked, getting out of the car. "Hello, boy." She said to the bouncing dog. "He looks part horse to me." She joked. "Let's grab your stuff"

"Yeah,probaly be best I get there a hair early." Caden followed Rose into the front yard. "You know how to drive a Camaro?" He asks.

"Shit,Coach is making us condition before the game.Here's the Camaro's keys.Please,don't wreck it.Love you later!" Caden dashed out the door into his Corvette before speeding off to the highschool. "Sorry Coach,did'nt get the text." Coach Keith just nodded and went over the workout.Caden rolled his eyes when he said,250# Clean And Jerks... Yes,Caden could do them easily but,he hated doing them.

"oh, okay. Love you." She said, watching him leave. She sighed, patting Murphy's head. She watched him speed down the road, wishing she had gone too. She walked up to his room and sat on the bed. She scrolled through Tiktoks before looking at the time. 4:30. She texted Caden, I'm heading over to the school. Your friends are fine to tease, y'know. I can handle Charli. <3 She went out to the Camero after putting on her light layer of makeup and took one of his football sweatshirts from this year. It said Oritz on the back, and she thought he wouldn't mind. She drove carefully to the high school before leaning on the rail that seperated the field from the stands. She smiled, watching Caden practice befor the game.

"Trevor!Give me the ball you bafoon!" Caden yelled.Once Trevor had FINALLY tossed the ball,Caden caught it and ran it to a touch-down.Coach Keith called everyone over. "Alright,this is the BIGGEST GAME we've had all season.Don't mess it up,alright?" They all nodded. "Good,get out there and remember the plays.Dean did you hear me,remember the plays this time,alright?" Dean rolled his eyes. "Alright,let's go." We have the Arizona Dodgers versus the Redwood Titans.First inning. Caden listened to the PA system go over the top players on the team with Caden in first for the Dodgers.The whistle blew and Caden did the play.Almost there!The Titans had tackled Caden and he was now on the ground.He shook it off and laughed,knowing the away team had fun with it.

Rose cheered her boyfriend on, knowing he was having the time of his life. She winced when he was tackled, having a new perspective of who he was. She heard his distant laugh and sighed, relieved that he was fine. She watched the game, cheering when Caden scored a touchdown. She loved watching him in his element.

It came down to the last 5 minutes.The ball sailed through the air as Caden leaped up and caught it.he knew his team was depending on it so he ran,heart pumping,lungs pounding.He felt the brush of arms against his legs and trip him sending him down with a thump.His head hurt for a moment.Once he regained his senses,he realized one shoulder was quite lower then the other. "Keith,think I got me a dislocated shoulder."

Rose watched in horror as Caden fell and she watched him get up with a messed up shoulder. She didn't know what to do, so she just watched as the medics helped him off the field and to the sidelines. She thought for a moment. Screw it. They can expel me. She hopped the fence, sprinting to Caden

"Rose,im fine.Just a dislocated shoulder.Nothing to worry about." He was about to say something else until one of the medics re-located Caden's shoulder and he winced. "See?Im fine.Now please,if your worried im worried.Go,please." Caden asked while he flexed his fingers.
