The woman gave him a big grin as they wandered into the kitchen. "That'd be the best anniversary present ever," she mused lightly to him. She nodded when he said salad, and went to grab some left over chicken and cut come vegetables up for their salad. She looked over at him after a moment. "Come give me a hand, then!" She mused lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, nodding lightly. "Don't worry, I've been plotting," he mused lightly, letting her help him up and wander into the kitchen, humming in agreement as he sat down at the table. "I'll cut things up," he chirped lightly, knowing he could do anything sitting down for now.

The woman nodded when he said he'd give her a hand, then sort of moved to hand him a knife and grabbed some bits and peices to put together. Soon enough, though they'd gotten everything together and got the kids in for lunch. Anthony came in too, since they'd made more than enough for the him. They sat down and ate quick enough before moving to get some more jobs done. The kids went to clean up, with mari going around behind them to make sure they'd done it properly, and soon enough they'd finished up.

Sage was more than happy to help....he figured he'd been pretty unuseful for everyone for a while now, so the least he could do was help cut up some chicken for lunch. So, that's exactly what he did, moving to grab the silverware after that while Mari called the family in to eat. He'd plopped back down soon enough, going through two rather large bowls of salad, as he was really hungry for whatever reason, before falling flat asleep on the table once everyone else had left. He hadn't meant to...he'd just rested his head on his hand, and before he'd known what was happening his body had decided it was full and tired and he'd passed out, head resting g on his arms.

The woman went to clean up after a little bit, soon enough moving to put bowls away before wandering back into the dining room. She looked at him curiously before wandering up behind him and sort of massaging his shoulders. "Babe," she whispered softly. "Why don't we get you to bed and you can have a nap, yeah?" She asked him gently, just trying to wake him up as gently as she could.

Sage had stirred slightly when Mari woke him, lifting his head slightly with a tired sigh. "Alright," he mused quietly, though he didn't make any sort of move to get up, since he was tired and her hands on his shoulders felt nice. Soon enough though, she'd prodded him enough that he moved to get up and onto his feet, waddling unsteadily back up the stairs and to their bedroom. He's flopped over onto the bed, eyes fluttering closed again quickly with a tired thanks to the girl.

The woman gave a small smile when the boy agreed to settle down, and moved to peck his head and tucked him into bed gently. "I'll wake you up for dinner," she promised him, settling down after a moment and moved to sit next to him, running her hands through his hair until she was sure he was asleep. She sort of sighed and moved to get dinner on, cleaning up and seeing to the kids for a little while.

Sage had given her a small, alibet half asleep, smile in response to her comment, nodding when she mentioned dinner. He knew she wouldn't let him go hungry....of course, he'd eaten plenty for lunch, so he doubted if he slept through dinner it would be a bad thing. He'd nestled in happily, a grin forming on his face when she moved to sit down with him, leaning into her touch as his eyes drifted shut. It was nice to know that even though he was healing, she'd still stick around with him for a while, even though it wasn't needed. He'd drifted off minutes later, though, now that was was comfortably in bed as well as full.

The woman gave a small smile to her husband after a moment, though soon enough dinner was on the table and she'd sent Liz to go and wake her father up. She sort of waited happily until everyone was down at the table. They ate quickly and she cleared up before putting the kids to bed and patting Sage on the shoulder. "Go get showered and to bed. Hun, you look exhausted," she mused before shaking her head. He did look tired... and he'd nearly passed out on the table earlier.

Sage had woken a few hours later to Liz's face peering curiously at his as she tugged his hand gently. He'd chuckled softly, moving to get up, though he was rather stiff for whatever reason. Maybe it was just his body taking the energy to heal now that the stitches were out. He let the little girl lead him down to the kitchen though, even if it was a slow pace. Soon enough though, they'd eaten and he'd told the kids goodnight, and he was ready to pass out again. At mari's comment, he let out a heavy breath and nodded, moving to run his fingers through the strands of hair that had fallen over his face, though he didn't get far before he winced and lowered his arm. "You might need to come up there with me," he noted tiredly, giving her a small smile. "The suture holes scabbed up by now and I have a feeling they'll be tight for a while," he mused, starting to make his way up the stairs and to the bathroom.
