Mari listened to him with an amused smirk across her face, then gently bumped his shoulder. "You used to argue none stop! I consider myself lucky if you just stand under the shower, never mind a whole bath," she teased him with a bit of grin. "I suppose I don't mind pampering you. But that's only because I feel like you deserve it, and I don't get a clean husband if I don't," she giggled lightly, clearly just teasing. She started to snack on her food, trying some halumi fries and some vegetables. Her brow sort of raised at him, though she couldn't help her grin when he kissed her. She wasn't being any more affectionate than normal, she didn't think... at least not on purpose. "What?" She asked him with a slightly raised brow and a curious expression across her face. "I'm always loving towards you. Maybe you just haven't notice it before," she teased him. "Maybe it's our anniversary and I'm trying to get some loving comments back... but who knows," she taunted him with a bit of a chuckle.

Sage snorted in response to her comment. "I do not," he whined with a sort of chuckle. "I always wash up for you," he added with a sort of huff, though he was obviously amused by the whole thing. Of course, at her other comments, he chuckled and nodded. "You are," he agreed. "But right now you're somehow.....I dunno, more chirpy," he teased softly. "though I can't say I don't appreciate it all the same," he mused, giving her another peck on the cheek. "It's rather adorable," he hummed happily, raising an eyebrow in response to her other comment. "I spoil you rotten," he snorted lightly. "You always get loving comments just as much as I do," he noted, really just enjoying their time out.

Mari looked at him with a small chuckle before moving to gently peck his cheek. "Only when I beg you," she teased him, a cheeky looking grin across her face. "Or when I offer you a massage," she mused lightly to him. She sort of looked at him with a little grin, the whole conversation just amusing her. "I'm more... chirpy?" She chuckled to him. "Sage I'm always chirpy," she chuckled to him happily. She then sort of moved to take another bite of her food. She sort of wrinkled her nose at him before shaking her head. "Loving comments? You mean 'ohh, mari, give me a back rub' type comments?" She snickered gently to him before finishing her food.

Sage had snorted in response to her comment, giving her a sort of fake pout. "I bathe without complaint plenty," he protested before laughing in response to her next comments. "Yes, but you're more...I dunno, excitable about it," he mused. Then he just gave her a grin. "I do like your massages and back rubs," he mused. "I do normally give you something in return though," he pointed out with a shrug. "besides, I could tell you plenty of things right now and you'd be appalled I'd be saying themnin public," he nitwd with a wink.

Mari glanced over at him, an amused smile across her face when she saw his pout. "Hmm... no, not really Sage," she mused lightly to him. "I've had to wrestle you in there a couple of times," she teased. She soon finished her meal, and started to sip on her drink while she waited for Sage. She cocked her head at him after a moment before giving a small chuckle. "Well it's our anniversary, and I'm an excitable person! I love you too so that gives me even more incentive to be happy," she mused. She then sort of squinted her face at his next comments. "I'm sure you can see how appalled I am when you tell me all those things later," she teased softly.

Sage had huffed out a slight breath and wrinkled his nose in amusement. "Only if I'm super tired or I don't feel good," he whined, though his eyes were glittering happily. He'd finished eating soon after Mari, and had sat back with his drink happily. "true," he mused. "it's sweet anyway," he chuckled. "oh, I'm sure I can manage to at least get a blush on that pretty face of yours," he purred lightly, mostly messing around. Of course, if something did come out of it he wouldn't say no, but whatever.

Mari gave a little pout as she went to pay, then offered him a bit of a grin. "Hmm. I suppose you've gotten better," she mused gently. "I guess you've realised that you don't get into bed when you're covered in horse stuff," she mused lightly to him. She sort of offered him her hand to wander out with him. She let a big grin cross her face at his comment. "It doesn't take much," she mused lightly to him once they'd wandered out the door. She sort of turned to him a little and pecked his nose playfully. "And I'm sweet so you have all the more reason to try," she hummed, her voice dropping a little, though a smile still across her face.

Sage had chuckled softly and nodded, still just rather enjoying their little banter or whatever this was. It was just nice to mess around with her a little bit, he supposed. "Yeah," he mused lightly. "I figured the cuddles I'd get in bed were worth washing off quick," he chuckled lightly, setting down his now empty glass and leaving the payment on the table before taking her hand and wandering out with her. "Well I'm sure I can think of plenty to say as sexy as you still are," he hummed lightly, bumping her gently with his shoulder.

The woman sort of gasped at him before shaking her head. "What do you mean, still?" She asked with a teasingly shocked expression across her face. "Are you calling me old?" She muttered to him with a small chuckle. She then sort of started wandering a little bit aimlessly. "I don't want to go back yet," she sort of complained before moving to sort of tug hun towards the market centre. "Let's go for a wander or something. We could probably go get some pudding or something," she chirped happily to him.

Sage chuckled softly and raised an eyebrow. "You call me old all the time," he snorted, though when she said she wanted to just browse he nodded lightly in response to her comment. "We can do that," he chirped. "A dessert does sound good," he added with a sort of gun of thought. It did sound nice...it had cooled off a bit as the sun had started to set, so it was a perfect summer night. And he did miss being able to get out and do things, so it was a good sign he still had energy to wander around and such.
