The woman grinned up at him after a moment. "It wouldn't take long, would it?" She agreed playfully before sort of rolling her eyes at him and sitting up, then moving to wrap her arms around his neck. "Hey, I need the money! You're dead I'm doing everything I can," she mused lightly before pecking his nose again. "You've had plenty of chances. It's just a shame you've been near to death every single time," she retorted, her nose wrinkling slightly. "You can't complain about not getting something you haven't been well enough for," she then added gently. "Besides, you haven't done anything with me in months," she mused to him. Sage had simply grinned over at the girl, rather amused at all her comments. "I doubt you could put up with an old fat man even if it was to make some money," he noted with a sort of chuckle. He wrinkled his nose slightly in amusement in response to her next comments, humming softly. "It wasn't exactly my choice to almost die," he huffed, though he hummed as if in thought, before raising an eyebrow. "was that an invintation to do something before the kids get home then," he mused, eyeing the girl with what was supposed to be a flirty look but he was too amused for it to look much like that, he supposed.

Mari made a face at him before sort of pouting. "I don't know. If it gets me a mansion I might not be too averse to it," she hummed, shaking her head a little. "Well you could have chosen not to almost die," she huffed dramatically to him. Obviously, he couldn't have chosen any different, but she could joke all the same now that he was better. She couldn't help her grin at his look before moving to peck his lips. "Maybe," she mused, flopping back on the couch with a chuckle. "Make what you'd like of it," she added with a grin.

Sage simply chuckled and rolled his eyes, shaking his head. "You'd never be able to clean or cook or do anything with all those servents," he mused. "You'd go insane in there," he noted with a laugh before sticking his tongue out at the girl. "Maybe I'm just sick and tired of doing work for you," he teased her, as they both knew full well he loved his work and loved caring for his family. Though, at ehr next, comments, he hummed again before leaning over and pressing a more drawn out kiss to the girl's lips, a light rumble in his throat. "If you want anything you'll have to get up," he purred lightly

Mari hummed in thought for a moment. "Maybe... or maybe I'd be so elated that the place is finally all clean that I can finally let my mind at ease," a small chuckle escaped her after a moment. "It's fine, you're dying so you won't have to do work for much longer babe," she sort of teased, though the grin on her face showed she was just messing around. A little hum escaped her when he kissed her, and she kissed him back happily before groaning when he said she had to get up. She huffed out a breath before moving to get up with a small pout. "You make my life difficult, you know that?" She asked with a chuckle.

Sage chuckled softly and the snorted in response to her comment. "Mari, if the house is spotless you're complaining you have nothing to do," he teased lightly, though he wrinkled his nose at her next comment. "maybe it's providing for all you crazies that's gonna kill me," he joked before chuckling as she moved to get up. "I figure I can make getting up worth you while," he sort of purred, taking her hand and tugging her along and up the stairs happily.

Mari rolled her eyes at him before giving a chuckle. "Only because I have nothing better to do! If I was rich and had a mansion I'd find things to do," she chuckled lightly to him. She then sort of moved to press a light kiss to his lips when he stood up. "You're the one that drives us crazy," she scoffed, though a grin spread across her face when he took her hand. "You think?" She asked with a bit of a chuckle. "Not very promising babe."

Sage had chuckled softly in response to her comments, just shaking his head in amusement before throwing her a grin over his shoulder as they moved into the bedroom. "Well, if this is driving you crazy, I think you quite enjoy it," he cooed over at her as they sort of settled in the center of the room, near the bed. He'd moved to sort of wrap himself around her happily, hands on her hips as he just grinned over at her, having kicked the door closed.

Mari watched him curiously before nodding in agreement. "It gives me something to do," she mused. "And if you weren't crazy what would you be?" She sort of chuckled lightly to him. She followed him surly, a sort of curious look across her face when he grinned down at her. She sort of looked over at him before resting her hand on his chest gently. "What are you grinning about," she mused, her brow raising a little. "I'm not liking this Sage, I don't know what you're thinking," she then added with a little laugh.

Sage sort of just chuckled in response to her comment and pressed a kiss to her forehead in response to her comments, just wrapping his arms around her loosely as she leaned in. "I'm thinking you're very pretty," he hummed, "and that I love you very much,* he added lightly, sort of moving to peck her neck as he went on. He wasn't sure why he was so flirty all of a sudden....but hey, they had some time to have some fun before the kids got back and all. So he didn't really care.
