Sage hummed softly in agreement to her comment, nodding happily, alibet a bit lazily as he was still more than happy to lounge around half asleep. Well, he was a little more awake than that by now, but he was definitely not awake awake yet. Whatever....he was just glad they had time like this that they could spend together. "Amazing how much noise two littles can make," he noted with a soft chuckle. "or just Silas for that matter," he added in a fond tone. Liz was a bit quieter then their son....but both of them had the energy he had, though that coupled with their little kid energy added to quite the excitement through the day. It was amusing, and he obviously loved the kids to death, but that just meant he appreciated times like this all the more.

The woman chuckled in agreement to the man, a little smile spreading across her face at the thought of them. They were both just so buzzy... the best of both of them, she supposed. They were happy kids, and she was glad to see them so happy... glad that they'd managed to support a life where her children could really enjoy it. "It is a lot of noise, huh?" She asked with an amused chuckle. "Even Lizzy can be loud," she mused softly to him. They were loud most of the day, too... and she sort of liked the energy they brought into the house. "You going to the castle today," she asked with a small hum.

Sage chuckled softly but nodded in agreement. "They just move so fast," he laughed, shaking his head slightly. Of course, his voice held a fond tone to it, as it always did when he talked about his kids....but it certainly wasn't wrong. They hopped around like nobody's business, which was rather amusing. At Maris next comment he sort of shrugged. "I might stop by this afternoon for a bit," he hummed, shifting slightly before settling down again. "Wasn't planning on being there more than a few hours if I do stop by since we were there for a while yesterday."

The woman gave a small chuckle to the boy after a moment, though nodded in agreement. They did move fast... that also had a very poor attention span, so they moved from one thing to the next very quickly. "They're mad, is what they are. Just like their father," she mused with a small chuckle before sort of looking back over at the boy with a grin. "They get that whole running around thing from you," she mused softly to him. She did love it, though... she loved the kids, and her husband. She shrugged in response to him before giving a little smile. "Just wanted to know if you wanted dinner," she mused happily.

Sage couldn't help but laugh at her comment about the kids being mad, shaking his head slightly in amusement. Of course, when she said it was all from him, his eyebrows rose and he gave the girl a mischievous grin. "Me? You should see yourself running around trying to to find things to do," he teased her lightly. It was true, they had his energetic nature ..but they also had Maris quick bursts on top of that. Which really wore anyone around them out pretty quickly, even if it was quite endearing. "I'll be back by then, I'm sure," he noted. "You're cooking is much better than whatever poor soul the castle hired as a cook now," he noted with a slight chuckle. Edited at August 15, 2024 10:12 PM by NightClan

The woman let out an amused chuckle before shrugging softly. She sort of cocked her head st him before raising a brow. "Yes, that's just because there's nothing to do! If I had work to do I wouldn't be doing that," she mused gently, though sort of poked his side. "But that's only for a few hours. Those kids are always going something," she mused happily. She let a little grin cross her face when he said he'd be back, and sort it pecked the top of his head happily. "Good. Just don't be too late," she mused softly to the man. She supposed they did have to get up at some point... but it was admittedly very nice just to relax.

Sage rolled his eyes in response to the girls protest, but let her have her victory for now. Mostly because he knew she was going to worry about this while castle thing, so if she was happy he'd let her stay that way. He grinned up at her when she pecked his head though, and nodded happily. "Wouldn't miss it for the world," he chirped lightly. "What are you planning on making anyway," he asked, cocking his head slightly as he normally did when he was curious about something. He'd get up soon, but for now this was nice.

Mari looked down at him when she felt him move, a little grin crossing her face. "Oh, Sage, that's a bit dramatic no?" She asked with a chuckle, though hummed in thought before a more gentle smile crossed her face. "Probably Lasagna," she hummed, another smile crossing her face. She did like the idea of it, and she did love the dish. She let out a heavy breath after a moment before giving a chuckle. "We should probably get up at some point, you know," she mused lightly. She loved that they had moments like this, though... and in truth she wasn't too concerned about leaving or anything.

Sage chuckled softly and shrugged, grinning up at the girl. "I dunno, you're lasagna is pretty delicious," he hummed, moving to peck her nose lightly before flipping back down onto the bed. "I'll definitely be back for that," he added in a rather amused manner. He groaned when she mentioned getting up, but nodded with a sigh. "I suppose the horses will be wanting breakfast," he admitted. "And if the kids are going to sleep tonight they'll have to get up soon," he added lightly.

The woman nodded with a small chuckle when the boy pecked her nose, though sort of cook her head at the boy. "You mean that you're just hungry," she mused softly to the boy. She then gave a soft sigh and nodded, sort of crawling out of bed, though not before pecking his temple lightly. "You have a point. If we want any sleep tonight they're gonna need to be up soon," she mused lightly before getting changed and wandering off to get some breakfast... well, it was more like lunch ready.
