"It's not fair" She complianed quietly

Dakota closed her eyes, anger flashing in them as she processed the fact she would have to be MIA for the next 2 weeks from rodeos.

"It's not." She stated. She decided she would at least hang out with her mare tomorrow, irrational anger still coursing through her. She sighed, deciding that she would also ride before 2 weeks

"I was gonna compete this weekend" She said quietly, upset still. "And i'm not gonna wait 2 weeks"

She sighed and turned away from him, not daring to get up and wince. That would only help his argument. She didn't want to argue with him, so she stayed silent
