Sage was more than happy to sit around, but once Mari got bored he sort of nodded with a grunt. "Do you wanna change or anything before we go," he asked, figuring they could wander around town or whatever until she got hungry, if she wasn't already. He'd just showered and such, coming back from the barn, so he had already changed and figured that was good enough. She'd probably want to say least do hey hair or something before going out though.

Mari grinned and nodded, a little hum escaping her. "Yep, give me five," she chirped. It had been such a long time since she'd got to do anything like this... just get ready and look nice to go out. It wouldn't be anything fancy, of course... but she had to admit she'd missed dressing up for things. It made her feel good, she supposed. After about ten minutes, she trotted down the stairs with a big grin. "Ready!" She hummed happily.

Sage nodded when she said to give her a few minutes, moving his arm from around her so she could get up, extending his cheek for the peck he knew was coming and then just laying around as he waited. He figured she'd take a little longer than just five minutes, but he certainly didn't mind. He was excited to go out and spoil her a little bit. When she came back down he gave her a grin, hauling himself up from the couch. "That was more than five minutes," he teased her lightly. 'but you look lovely," he added lightly, pecking her lips as he passed her to grab his wallet and such before wandering out the door with her.

Mari rolled her eyes at a little at his tease, though a pleased smiled across her face when he said she looked nice. It did make her feel good. She looked over at him after a moment with a little pout when he walked past her. "Where are you planning on going?" She asked with a bit of a hum. She was obviously so excited to go out and do something... anything, really.

Sage sort of just offered offered her his arm, like he normally did. It had been a habit for a few years now, that she take his blind side and steer him around a little bit. But it was also just nice to hold her a bit, if that made sense. "I'm not sure," he admitted. "I figured we could just...wander until we see soemthing that looks good," he chirped. It was a little bit of adventure to their night....something he always appreciated. And he knew she'd always have fun with it too.

Mari smiled softly to him, and looped her arm through his and leaned on him just a little. She had to admit it would be nice to go spend some time with the Sage for a little while, just wandering. She only ever left the house to go to the market or run their children around, so she was admittedly a little bit excited to just wander a little bit. "Sounds good," she hummed as she wandered out the house happily.

Sage grinned over at her with a nod, glad when she agreed. They had the evening to do whatever they wanted, which was nice. They hadn't gone on a date or anything like that for a while...so he was glad to just wander around town, maybe stop in a ship or two if she wanted before dinner. "What sort of food sounds good," he asked after a moment, looking along the side of the street he could actually see.

The woman walked along next to him happily, sort of looking around bright eyed. It had been a while since they'd gone on a date of any sorts... so this should be good. She looked over at him with a happy smile before sort of shrugging. "I'm not sure. You pick," she chirped. She had to admit she was sort of curious about the tavern... it had been nearly a decade since Sage had been there. She wondered if it had changed at all. Still, she didn't wan to go somewhere that would potentially set the man back. A nice bar would be good, though.

Sage sort of groaned when she told him to pick something, glancing around with a playfull huff of air. "Mari, I can only see helf our options," he whined, nudging her lightly with a grin. "You gotta help me out here," he added with a light chuckle. He could see a few nice places, but nothing that really sparked his intrest. He wanted to go somewhere a little nicer...spoil Mari a bit. They had money to spare, so why not. She deserved to be spoilt a little bit, in his opinion.

The woman rolled her eyes at his little groan, though a smile stayed across her face as she went to peck his cheek. "Well turn your head a little more," she teased softly. She then let out a huff of complaint, and glanced around. "If you make me pick then we're going to be out for hours," she chuckled. She did have a good look around... and suddenly pasta was on the forefront of her mind. "Well let's get Italian then. You pick a place though," she then declared with a happy little grin, really just happy to be out... doing something.
