Sage chuckled softly as he caught the boy's nod, patting the colt lightly. He would be big...that was for sure, but Att was getting pretty big himself. He probably weighed twice as much as he did, and it wouldn't be much longer before he was taller than Sage was, too. "What do they feed you guys over here," he mused lightly with a shake of his head, really just teasing a little bit. It was nothing special, he'd worked with the knights plenty to know what all they did. He still thought half of it was rediculous, but whatever. He nodded in response to Att's comments after that with a sort of hum, letting out a soft breath. "Anya's pretty shaken up," he agreed softly. "I'm gonna go check in on her once I'm done in here," he added with a shrug. Though, he chuckled softly when he said he was just glad to get away with it all, and nodded. "That's how I've always been too," he noted lightly.

Att looked over at him at his tease, and just sort of shook his head. They were fed enough for at least three people. All the rich, protein filled food they could eat, at all times - the knights and guards all did. The few big dinners they did have for the guards were huge and loud. Very, very loud. "They feed us everything under the sun," he mused lightly, a soft sort of chuckle rumbling in his throat. He himself was parcial to a rare (cow should still be bleeding rare) steak, with wedges and blue cheese. Yes, that was the perfect meal, and something he should probably be sick of eating by now. Although, brisket sounded pretty good right about then too. He was a growing boy, and hell, he was always starving. He let out a soft breath when he mentioned Anya. "I haven't seen her much," he noted. She hadn't left her room in a good few days, and as much as he argued with the woman he was worried. She wasn't his mother, which she'd made abundently clear, but she'd taken him in and looked after him - he should be a little worried about her, at least. He shrugged ater a moment. "You have no idea how much I hate all that stuff," he huffed.

Sage chuckled softly when he mentioned being fed a lot, nodding lightly. "Well, I suppose that can't be a bad thing," he mused with a sort of laugh. He'd never been fed that much...even when he lived at the castle himself, he'd never been one to eat much. Besides, he'd have to go get it himself, unless he was in the ward hurt or something, in which case food was mostly untouched even if the doctor brought it over. But it was good to know he was well taken care of. when he mentioned Anya, he sighed and nodded. "I should head over there soon," he admitted, glancing through the window at the sun to gauge the time. Though, atts next comment caused a chuckle to rise in his throat. "Oh, I'm pretty sure I can imagine," he mused lightly. "When I lived here I pretty much hung out here or in my room," he recalled, head cocking slightly.

Atticus gave a soft nod in agreement. He still didn't know much about how he'd gotten into the caste, but he was told Sage had brought him up and he'd gone into Anya's - or rather, the maids care when he left. He still didn't know much about why he left, actually. He didn't suppose it mattered all that much. "It's not - until you eat a four course breakfast then have to go out and train," he mused. He'd learned to eat early, have some time to rest then go train. He'd thrown up one too many times while training, and you can bet to hell he wasn't doing that again. He nodded when he mentioned the woman again. He really couldn't care much less. She treated him as if he was... annoying, and honestly the longer she kept to herself the better. He couldn't reaalllyyy blame her, though. Her relationship with her own mother had been very similar, only Att was not going to flap his arms around for her attention. "Same story here," he mused. "I'm eaither here, my room or on the training ground. Only downside to that is that it makes me easy to find," he huffed with a chuckle.

Sage chuckled softly in response to the boys comment, nodding along. "I don't think I've eaten a four course meal in my entire life," he laughed with a shake of his head. "One is plenty for me," he added lightly, clearly amused at the thought of him scarfing down four courses of a meal. He hummed softly in agreement when att mentioned it made it easy to find him, and he nodded along. "I wound up finding some decent hiding spots in the gardens and such," he noted. "I'll show them to you at some point, yeah," he added lightly. After a moment though, he let out a soft breath. "Maris in the castle ..I'd better check on Anya and then go find her," he mused. "I'll stop in and grab chaos later, say bye before I head out," he added, sort of moving to pay luther one more time and head out.
