Caden slept until late morning,waking at 11 and darting to the bathroom,throwing up.He sat on the wall. "Well deserved." He muttered,standing up. "Morning.Did I do anything stupid?"

"Not overly." She muttered, shutting off her phone

"Good.Frick that stuff burns but taste good." He mutters,walking to the fridge.He cracked open a bottle of water and chugged some,screwing the lid back on and sitting next to Rose.

"Please stop drinking, love." She requested, taking his hand

"I would.But no.Sometimes you really do have to escape reality." Caden muttered,allowing her to take his hand.

Rose sighed and stayed there for a moment before silently getting up and walking to get dressed in volleyball shorts and a fresh t-shirt. She put on her shoes and grabbed her keys. "Going to the gym. Love you." She called over her shoulder, walking out

"Love you!Don't hurt yourself please!" He called,half-grinning.Caden spun around and walked to the couch,opening his phone to TikTok.

Caden sighed and scrolled up,revealing a new post.

Rose did her usual workout, minus the bench from exhaustion. She drove home and walked through the door with a smile. "Hey, handsome." She said, going upstairs to take a shower

"Hey." He says,scrolling on his phone.

Murphy bounded off Caden's lap,sprinting to the door.He saw Rose and started wagging his tail,running around and jumping on her of excitement.He followed her up the stairs.
