Lorelei giggled, continuing.

Kai kept kissing her, his hand in her hair and on her hip

Lorelei began their fun. It wasn't as great as when Kai did it, but it was still good.

When they were finished, Kai was pantng for air. "Thank you, my love" He said softly, kissing her lips one last time

Lorelei smiled sleepily, rolling off and curling into his chest. "I love you,"

"I love you more baby. Do you need anything?" He asked, turning onto his side

Lorelei smiled, "No, I don't need anything but you,"

Kai nodded and held her close

Lorelei curled in, kissing his jaw and drifting off.

Kai watched her fall asleep before falling asleep himself.

Kai woke from a knock at the door and Cody's voice filtering through. "Kai. Get out here. Gotta talk to you." He insisted. Kai sighed and slipped from Lorelei's grasp before kissing her forehead and putting on pants. He walked out to Cody who was now sitting at the table. "Sit. I have some questions regarding your father." Cody said, his eyes tired but sparkling with curiosity. Kai nodded and sat down. "He doesn't know where you are, I swear. I left. He doesn't know who, what, when, or where I'm at." Kai said simply. Cody nodded, Kai having just answered nearly all his questions. "Do I need to worry for my girls?" Cody asked wearily. Kai sighed and nodded. "Stay armed and vigilant. I'd hate for something to happen to you after I came here. Lorelei and I are gonna leave tomorrow so we don't draw attention here" Kai said tiredly. Cody nodded. "One other thing. Why don't you drink anymore?" Cody questioned. Kai sighed. "I made my worst mistake while drunk. Screamed at Lorelei and called her a bitch. Told her off. Surprisingly enough, she came back to me after a while. Well, I kinda forced her to be with me again." Kai admitted with his eyes downcast. "Almost exact same thing with my last girl before Emily. I only lightly drink now. One or two beers every week or so unless we have company over."
