"Don't tempt me," She chuckled at his comment, grabbing the jerkey and tearing it open, grabbing a piece and eating it before grabbing the flask, taking a sip and spitting it out. "Goddamn that's cold," Rowan muttered, taking another. |

He chuckled, "What's a secret you've never told anyone" he looked at her raising an eyebrow as he continued eating his food. |

Rowan had to double take at his question, swallowing the food in her mouth as she considered. "Reason why i'm so rude to people is because i'm scared if I get close to them they'll get ripped out of my life like usual." She noted quietly. |

"Oh" he looked down, fiddling with Feathers mane. "That happened to me once, also why I don't do missions anymore." He grabbed his flask, taking a long sip of water. |

"Yeah I mean, it's stupid really, I need to just figure how to let people go and move on." She muttered, curious at his comment. "What do you mean that's why you don't do missions anymore?" Rowan asked |

"Well because if I didn't take any Oath, I wouldn't have had to do things I did. Could've still had a good life." He thought for a moment before adding "I quit because it messed up my life pretty bad" he took a few bites of his food, staring at the ground as Feather walked. |

She nodded, listening to what he said. "You're life's not so messed up now, is it?" Rowan asked curiously. |

"It could be better, but it's not horrible" he looked around as they approached an abandoned house that went up in flames ages ago. Ben kept Feather walking as he watched the leaves dance with the summer breeze. |

"How could it be better?" She asked, curious what he wanted in life as she kissed Twister on, the stallion slowing. |

Benjamin hesitated for a couple moments as he thought, "Honestly, I want a wife again, a family. Its so lonely out here." He huffed slouching into his saddle, Feathers ears dropping back unsure what Ben was doing. |
