Quinn chuckled lightly at his words, amused. Of course, he could do anything, except help with planting a garden, apparently. The one thing she needed. Well, jokingly, anyway. She could do the garden work on her own; it was just much harder. "That makes sense, knowing you." Quinn grinned, her smile seeming to soften yet grow when he spoke next. "Thank you. This does mean a lot to me." She said quietly, her eyes glittering happily as she reciprocated the kiss. "I love you. And I'm really glad you're willing to get your hands dirty for me." She murmured, sitting down on the grass to look up at the sky. It was so beautiful.

Sage had just grinned over at the girl in response to her comments. "I think your garden may not look exactly perfect if you keep wanting me out here," he noted lightly, really just joking around. Though....it was true. "I know," he hummed in resposne to her thanks. "That's why I figured you'd appreciate it," he chuckled lightly. Of course, his grin turned mroe mischevious inr esposne to ehr next comment. "I get my hands dirty all the time. Just not from poking holes in the dirt for seeds," he noted lightly, shifting to flop his head into her lap when she sat down next to him, peering up at her happily.

Quinn shook her head with a laugh. "It doesn't matter if it looks perfect. It only matters if stuff grows." She answered, smiling as she watched the trees sway. "You figured right." She commented lightly, her emerald eyes sparkling as she glanced at him. "I meant literally dirty, Sage. Like, with real dirt. You know, earthworm poop?" She teased, snorting quietly. She started absent mindedly playing with his hair, making small little braids every which way. It was much more entertaining than doing nothing. "I don't want to force you to help, though. If you have absolutely no interest, just go hunt a rabbit or something." The first part was serious, but her tone turned joking at the end. "I don't want to hold you against your will. Although I could." She smirked, glancing at him.

Sage chuckled softly in response to her comments, throwing her an amused glance. "I am, in fact, familiar with the concept of earthworm poop," he teased gently, really just amused about it all. It wasn't every day he decided to try gardening, he supposed. He let her play with his hair happily....it had grown out by now, and was nearly to his shoulders. He didn't really mind it that way, he supposed, either. It grew so fast it was hard to keep trimmed anyway. Thanks werewolf genes. He hummed in response to her next comments though, grinning up at her. "While I have no intrest in the plants, I do enjoy seeing you so happy," he mused. "I think I cann figure out the plants if it means some quality time with my wife," he chirped. He snorted when she said she could keep him here agaisnt his will. It was true....if she relaly wanted him to he'd do anythig for her. Not that he'd ever admit it. But still.

"You ARE!? I NEVER would've GUESSED!!!" Quinn exclaimed with a sarcastic grin, then looked at his hair slowly, frowning. It had grown out a tremendous amount, and the more she stared, the more she knew. "Sage, you need a haircut. Desperately. I don't care if it grows super fast- I have enough time to cut some off every week." She huffed quietly, annoyed that she hadn't really noticed before. "Well that's sweet. Thank you. Do note I will put you to work if you hang around." She grinned. "They're really not that hard... apart from the straight line part, apparently." Quinn smirked, looking amused. "But if that's all you can't do, I'd be thrilled to have your help." She added cheerily, while thinking about what was next, what she wanted to plant, where, and exactly how her day was going to go. She guessed the kids would sleep for about another 30 minutes, and in that time she could get a decent amount done. Did she want the blueberry bushes on the sides of the garden, or separating the food and herb side?

Sage had just laughed in response to her comment, grinning up at her happily. Though, he groaned when she mentioned a haircut."that takes so long though," he halfheartedly whined. He honestly didn't really care how long his hair was, but if she wanted to cut it he wouldn't complain. At least, not too much. Though, he rolled his eyes at her comment abiut the straight lines and huffed out a breath. "I bet if I tossed my dagger to make the holes it would be straight," he grumbled, obviously wasn't upset about anything. He just liked spending time with her.

Quinn looked at him with a snort, then lifted her eyebrows. "Takes long? Sit up." She ordered, pushing on his back to get him to sit up. She drew her dagger quickly, gently grabbing his hair and making a clean slice- it only took a couple moments. It was rough, but it looked good on him. "There. It didn't take very long." She snorted, then grinned widely, chuckling. "Do that, then. At least it wouldn't look like you were drunk." She teased, nudging his shoulder. "So, what's the plan for today. There has to be a plan. Are you going hunting? We have food, but I know you like to .. run around. I dunno." She laughed, tilting her head to try and hear if the kids were awake. She didn't hear anything, but she'd wake up soon.

Sage raised an eyebrow slightly in resposne to her commetn but followed her directions, chirping "Yes, ma'am," as he sat up. He blinked in surprise when she took only a few slices to chop his hair off....it did admittedly feel a bit better out in the heat of the day without as much hair. "I suppose that os one way to make it quicker," he chuckled lightly before wrinkling his nsoe. "I might try," he laughed with ashake of his head. "No plan," he mused, squinting up at th esun. "I'll probably hunt, or at least scout the area." Jack knew where they lived....so he would feel much more comfortable if he scouted around. He hadn't doen that yet, and he wanted to make sure no one else was around. Or had been around.

Quinn narrowed her eyes just slightly to study the haircut- meh, it'd be fine. It was much shorter now, and wouldn't be in the way. Plus, she thought Sage was way more handsome without super long hair. "It's the BEST way to make it quicker." She corrected with a wry smile, then frowned. "No plan? Sad." She joked lightly, though she was already forming thoughts in her mind about what to do and when. At his next words, she flinched slightly, her gaze immediately flitting to the woods. She didn't feel safe anymore, for her or for the kids. She always felt like she was being watched, and she just wanted it to all go away. "Good idea." Quinn mumbled quietly, looking at the cabin as she heard a quiet screech from Frynn. Must be feeding time. She stood, walking over to the door and then inside. After scooping up the small baby, and smiling as Frynn immediately quieted and stared expectantly, Quinn fed both babies.

Sage had chuckled when she said it was the best way to do a haircut, shrugging and holding his hands up on mock surrender. "Ok, I admit it, it does feel better," he mused lightly, rather amused by the whole situation. Though, he snorted lightlu at her joke about not having a plan, nodding when she mentioned it would be a good idea to take a look around. Of course, when frynn started crying, he chuckled again and moved to entertain Caspian while frynn was being fed, and then vice versa until both babies were happy and full. "I'll help get lunch together and then head out," he hummed to Quinn lightly, figuring that would be a good idea.
