Elara listened intently to the man's words, shifting from one foot to another uncomfortably. He was so...calm. So accepting. Why wasn't he attempting to attack her, or at least running away out of fear. Well, she didn't exactly look intimidating now did she. For a while, Elara stood silently, unable to think of what to say to any of what the man had said. The whole situation was confusing to her, but him offering to give blood from the animals he caught? Caught her off guard like crazy.

Eventually, Elara gathered enough thoughts to utter out some words, though she was still half focused on the smell of the blood entirely surrounding her. Both from him and the deer bleeding out on the floor. "I have no intention of attacking you." She said eventually, her voice fairly quiet against the growing breeze through the trees. She glanced up, her eyes catching onto a small animal darting throught he bushes just next to the river. She looked away. "You don't have to do that, I can find things or myself." She spoke, bringing her gaze back to the man. That wasn't exactly true, not these days anyway. It was hard to find anything that was actually fulfilling, that took the seemingly never ending weak feeling away.

At his next comment, Elara straightened up a little, looking down at her own clothes. Gosh she must look pathetic. "I have no idea what I can and can't do. I died quite recently, and it's not too easy to catch on to...however the heck this works." She whispered, gesturing vaguely to her own clothes. "It was mcuh easier when I was alive."
The sentence felt bitter in her mouth, like she was actually speaking it into reality. Before that, Elara hadn't said a word to anyone else in the cove about how she died, the fact that it was recent how she felt. And here she was, uttering it to some random hunter she had come across by complete accident. Not much was said, but it didnt need to be. Eventually, Elara stepped back again, clasping her hands in front of her. "Look, just...forget about this, okay? I'll stay back from the village, you don't say anything, we're both safe." She said quietly. That wasn't entirely true. At some point, Elara was very much planning to head up to the village.
