"oh..." Florida looked down, blinking rapidly to clear the image of the firs guy that had died. She took a deep breath and swallowed, turning her head away from Sage. "Are you going to be able to bury them with your shoulder the way it is now? Will you need help?"

Sage was thinking by then, still staring into the untouched breakfast. He started when Florida spoke up again, her voice breaking him out of his trance as he sat back with a sigh. "I don't know," he admitted. "But I have to try," he added with a sort of shrug. He offered her a sort of small smile, swallowing and sighing. "I appreciate breakfast but I don't think I'm going to be able to eat," he noted after a moment of sniffing at the food. It all just sent his stomach rolling. Probably nerves but...between the power going out, losing all the patients, the thing with Grace, the bounty hunter, and now having to deal with the bodies.....he was pretty well past his limit, he figured.

Florida looked over at his food then down at her empty plate. "Heck gimme" she reached over and shatched his waffles, munching on them. "Are there any extra clothes other than homeless sweats and scrubs?" she asked Sage

Sage chuckled softly and moved to slide his plate over to her. If she could eat, then he may as well let her. He wasn't sure how long supplies would last. "No," he sighed in response to her question. "I'm afraid a hospital doesn't make for a very good shopping trip," he added, teasing the girl softly. "And I doubt there's much outside of here," he added solemly. "Wars don't leave much for the innocent." He'd had his fair share of war, and soemthing in his tone probably gave that away, but he didn't particulary care at the moment.

Dlorida studied Sage for a moment, taking in the way spoke. "thats sad" she murmered, looking down at her knees. "What if I go try to find something?" she looked outside at the seemingly quiet sky

Sage sort of just nodded in response to her comment before glancing over at her , brows pinching together. "I don't think it's safe out there," he pointed out. He did want to see what was out there though. He let out a sigh after a moment. "Let me take care of things where then we can both have a look around, alright," he asked, cocking his head slightly to the side as he spoke.

Florida took in his words. "thank the Lord. I need fresh air" she looked back at Sage, her eyes sad. She drummed her fingers against her plate then took anothe rbite of her waffles. "How much more edible food do you think is left in there?" she asked, watching him as she awaited a response

Sage couldn't help but chuckle softly in response to her comment, shrugging with a thoughtful hum when she asked about food. "A couple months worth, at best," he guessed. "Might be able to make it stretch a bit longer if we're careful." It wasn't a lot, but....well, it was something.

"Months... is that how long we will have to be stuck in here?" She asked, her eyes wandering to the windows. Florida sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "I don't think I could stand that" she swallowed

Sage simply shrugged in response to her comment. "I don't know," he admitted. "It all depends on how this war goes, on both ends." It wouldn't be easy for anyone, but some how they'd get through it.
