Camery glanced over at him and gave an eager nod. "Yep! I just wanna see how it's coming along," she murmured softly. She stared running her fingers through his hair and offered a small smile. "You chill up here for a bit... I won't be all too long," she promised.

Kai smiled up at her, loving the feeling of her fingers running through his hair. "Can I come? I don't wanna be alone,"

Camery chuckled softly to him after a moment or two, and gave a more than willing nod. "Malakai, Baby, it's your castle. I don't get a say what you're doing," she chuckled gently to him after a moment or two.

Kai smiled and chuckled. "I can't wait to marry you," he murmured, looking up at her.

Camery grinned down at him after a moment, and chuckled. "Oh, you don't know how excited I am to marry you," she chuckle lightly to him.

Kai smiled. "My queen," he mused.

Camery grinned up at him, her eyes bright with excitement as she gave his hand a gentle squeeze. The warmth of his skin against hers sent a pleasant shiver through her, grounding her in this moment, in them. With a soft chuckle, she leaned in, pressing the lightest of kisses to his lips before pulling back just enough to murmur, "Not yet, I'm not." Gods, it still didn’t feel real. Queen of the Night Kingdom? Hell yes. Every part of her buzzed at the thought. She wasn’t just stepping into power—she was stepping into it beside him. Malakai Negri, King of the Night Kingdom. Her king. Her husband-to-be. Everything had happened so fast, but with him, it never felt rushed. It felt right. Natural, even. Like she had been waiting for this, for him, long before she had even realized it. He was her protector, her anchor, her greatest love. He was everything. Every dark, brooding part of him. Every sharp edge, every whisper of vulnerability he only ever let her see. And she adored him for all of it. Nothing—not a damn thing—would ever change that. She pulled away, just slightly, her grin widening as she stood and slipped her shoes on. Casting him a playful look over her shoulder, she tilted her head, her voice light and teasing. "Are you coming?"

Kai smiled, "but you will be, darling," he murmured happily. He smirked and got up, getting dressed quickly. "Yeah, hold on," he said. Once dressed, he walked over to her, holding her hand. "Ready,"

Camery smiled and nodded to him. She would be... in nearly two days time. She still hated that her father wasn't willing to come - well, she didn't actually know if he would have come, she hadn't asked, not after what he'd done to Malakai. "Soon. And soon you'll be my king," she hummed softly to him. She squeezed his hand softly to him after a moment, and offered him a big grin as they wandered down the hall, towards the gardens.

Malakai Negri - Kai smiled, just walking in silence together, hand in hand as they walked to the gardens.
