"I mean, both. And you are not 6'2"! I know what 6'2" looks like, and you, sir, are 6'1"." Tempe mocked. "Hey, I'm not the one who made it difficult to begin with, drama queen." She huffed, settling a hand on either side of his abdomen to hold on. Needless to say, it wasn't quite adequate when Opal lurched forward. Tempe let out a yelp and curled her arms around him completely as a panic response. Her head was flopped against his shoulder blade and her hands clasped over his stomach as she tried to... not die.

"I AM 6'2. YOU KNOW WRONG." Zephyr groaned, sending a glare her way. "Drama KING don't insult my gender too." He snorted jokingly, and seemed completely at ease as Opal rushed through the trees towards the camp. He could feel her grip constrict on his stomach though, so he knew she wasn't entirely used to this. With a slight smirk, Zephyr whispered something and Opal lurched upwards, literally jumping up through the trees before falling down again and landing roughly, then skidding to a stop at the hill, the entrance to camp Half Blood. "Oh look, here we are." He said cheerfully.

"6'1." Tempe mocked, rolling her eyes at him for the next comment. She was just beginning to calm down when he, of course, did something to make it worse. When Opal lurched again, her fingers twined into the fabric of his shirt and she held onto him for dear life, her head buried into his back so she didn't have to see what was going on. The skidding soon after didn't help. She let out a meek noise and slowly let go of him, laying down on Opal's back weakly. "Oh, gods, you really hate me, don't you?" She muttered, her hands shaking slightly as she covered her face with her hands, taking deep breaths. She lifted her leg and slid off in one of the least graceful movements she had ever made, landing on the grass on all fours. "If I hurl, it's on you." She muttered, leaning back to sit on her knees.

Zephyr was done with height arguing. He could've sworn he grew an inch but it didn't matter. He suppressed a chuckle as she just buried her head in his back. Ohh he was so rude sometimes. When Opal landed and stood perfectly still, he hopped off after her and crouched down next to her. "Naw, I don't hate you. I'm just wondering how you can survive a ride on a flying horse but not on a running one." He commented with a small grin. "Okay, calm down, we're safely on the ground. I apologize for the inconvenience. Bye Opal!" Zephyr directed the first part at Tempe before turning to the horse and rubbing Opal's skull. The skeleton mare nickered happily and nuzzled Tempe before disappearing into the ground. "Come on, we should get back." He took her arm and tugged her up.

"Thats questionable. But usually when I ride, the horses don't do multiple surprising, strange, body shaking actions in a row." Tempe hissed, glaring at him over her shoulder. "I am calm. I'm just nasueous." She huffed, closing her eyes. She let out a sigh and stroked the mare softly for the nuzzle, then went back to leaning over the ground feeling sick. She whined when he pulled her to her feet, stumbling slightly. "Has anyone ever told you that you ride like a drunk, blind hag?" She muttered bitterly, rubbing at her eyes and leaning on him slightly.

"Those weren't strange, believe me. That's Opal behaving normally. She can literally rearrange every bone in her body while she flying through the air. Believe me. That's way more body jarring." He answered, quieting a little. Okay, maaaaybe that hadn't been the best idea. "And you look more like the drunk blind hag right now, but you'll feel better in a couple minutes." He smiled faintly, not pulling away as he guessed she'd topple over and instead moving forward slowly. "I know I can be hard to deal with sometimes, but I try. Every once in a while. Don't think I don't care." Zephyr said quietly after a little bit as they slowly went to the main part of camp, through the trees. He glanced at Tempe.

"It was for me." Tempe huffed, swatting at him gently for the joke. "Hey, ugly jokes aren't funny, you worm." She whined, letting out a soft breath as they continued toward camp. The longer she walked and the longer she breathed, the more the nausea faded. She tilted her head up at him for the sudden seriousness, puzzlement on her face. "I know you try. And I know you care sometimes. I just never thought you'd say it out loud." She smiled.

Zephyr smiled at a little at the first part, and chuckled at the second. "Who said ugly? I never said ugly. And you're the one that's calling me a worm." he joked, his gaze surveying the clouds. At her answer his face turned the slightest bit somber again. "I care all the time I just may not try all the time." He corrected with a slight huff at her last words. "Me neither. Now moving on with the story, oh look, the camp! Let's go yell at Chiron so we can feel better." He changed the subject with probably the worst subject change in history, and moved forward slightly quicker, his eyes lighting up a little as he saw his cabin. He was home at last.

"Drunk, blind hags are basically the definition of ugly." Temperance huffed, glaring at him from the corner of her eye. She sighed at his comment, then dragged her feet at his next words. "I don't wanna deal with that half-horse prick." She hissed, looking towards her cabin with a frown. "How about," She detached herself from his side. "You go yell at Chiron, and I pretend he doesn't exist." She nodded, looking around the still unfamiliar place in a distinctly unhappy way.

"Okay then Miss Offended Easily, I take back everything I said- you don't look like a drunk, blind hag anymore. Happy?" Zephyr snorted sarcastically, then pretended to look shocked. "But wouldn't yelling at him HELP? Or at least see the look on his face when he sees we're both still alive. OO I know what to do. I'll go up to him alone so he thinks YOU'RE dead then see his reaction then laugh in his face and say: Ha no, you can't get rid of her that easily! And perhaps whisper: Believe me, I tried." He grinned jokingly beforeletting his smile fade at the utterly grumpy look on her face. "Oookay then. Not in a mood for jokes."
