I slipped my eyes shut for a moment, shoulders slumping for the first time in what felt like decades. Emily's fingers still glided through my hair, the action soothing and dare I say, warm. I opened my eyes once more, flicking my gaze to her face as I studied her features once again. I'd done it at the shop when I picked up to Z06, at the hospital, and a few other times I won't mention. My gaze washed over her face, hesitating at her lips a few times before I pulled it away. |

Y'know, Em, there's a thousand things I want to do right now. Love you like i'm fucking rabid. Stay right here in this....this calm. And leave so I can get my work done for today and not be swamped tomorrow. Hell, I have no clue what you're thinking or feeling. Option two sounds the best. |
