She smiled playfully and continued her workout

I grinned, finishing a while later and starting to pack up.

She had finished a bit earlier and was half asleep, sitting against his rack

"Ready to go, sleepyhead?" I asked, chuckling softly as I grabbed my bag, ready to leave.

She startled a bit before nodding and standing, following him

I chuckled, leading the way out to the McLaren before getting in, tossing my bag in the storage as I waited for her to close her door before starting the drive home, getting a call from an unknown number. I answered it. "Cade? You still alive?" I sat there for a moment, confusion, shock, and gratitude rushing through me. "Seems you still are, all in all, I'm doing alright." I grinned, instantly recognizing the voice as none other than Zach's

Emily went and got in the shower after kissing Caden's cheek

"Sorry Em," I said, pulling the car into its spot in the garage, heading outside onto the back porch before asking Zach all kinds of questions, such as how was Ukraine, how's all his squad mates* doing. "Listen, we've gotta meet up at some point, catch up a bit more." I noted, looking for a day I was open before noting he could come over at some point, show him I still had the motorcycle he'd given me ages ago. Eventually I hung up, noting Emily was still in the shower.

Emily ddn't mind him being on the phone, she was glad he was happy. Eventually, she finished up in the shower and changed into shorts and a tank top before coming into the kitchen

"Sorry about that, Zach had been basically dead to me for months, that was the first time he'd contacted me in ages." I noted with a smile, pecking her forehead.
