He sighed some and nodded, seeing that Abby seemed sad, "It's ok. It's just when my wings get wet they get really heavy like they are being held down like rocks."

"oh... i'm sorry..." she pulled herself out of the water

"It's ok," he says in a calming voice, "you didn't know so it's not your fault. Don't beat yourself up too much."

she sat on the pool ledge, looking up at him "ok"

"You ready to head back already," he asks seeing her just sitting at the edge of the water, "or do you want to swim more?"

"I'm good" she got up and wrapped a towel around herself

"Ok," he says and stands up. He walks over and offers his hand to Abby.

Abby took it and grabbed her stuff

He smiled some and waited until she was ready before starting to walk back with her to the apartment room.
