(It's ok) Mal chuckled some at Camron's question before thinking for a moment on a reply. "Well I was thrown off of my horse," he says, "and a few days before that I met my new body guard. Who, may I add, is a wonderful guy and is very nice to me." He smiles some at his answer, knowing that it was kind of sarcastic but also hoped it cheered Camron up some. He then turned the page in his book and began to read some more before his eyes widened as a- well.. Interesting scene came up in the book.

[Camron gave a small smile at Malcolm's reply. "Yeah.. strange, I have had a similar past few days with meeting the person I now protect, then I witnessed someone fall off a horse, strange coincidence." He glanced around the room before once more looking at Malcolm. He noticed a minor reaction change as Malcolm flipped the page. "You okay?" He questioned. His gaze changed to what he was reading but he couldn't see what it was. "Something wrong?" He asked once more.]

He chuckled some at Camron's reply and smiled up at him before returning to the pages in front of him. He read some more before looking back up at Camron as he asked him some questions. "Hm? Oh no I'm fine," he says, "just some interesting scenes happened in this book." Mal lifted the book slightly to gesture at it after he had spoken.

[Camron glanced at the book for a moment before giving a quiet chuckle. "Romance?" He questioned in a joking tone, "You never struck me as that kind of guy." Camron leaned back in the chair, "Now that I think about it, you deffinatly are the type to read romance." He moved his gaze to the window as he waited for something to be said. Camron sat, he had to admit that coming from a more middle class it was odd to be somewhere so fancy it just wasnt something he was used to.]

He felt his cheeks warm up as Camron questioned his book genre. "W-well I don't only read romance," he says then clears his throat before continuing, "I read other books as well. Just this one seemed interesting at the moment. Plus it was the first one I grabbed so.." Mal lowered the book so that Camron couldn't see any more of the features on the cover. His eyes drifted over to the window, thinking that there was something interesting out there that Camron was looking at.

["Sorry." He muttered realizing he had most likely offended Malcom. He didnt want to move his gaze from the video. "I did not mean for that to be rude." Camron was not watching anything in praticular other than the light breeze holding the leaves in the distance. He didnt dare shift his gaze back to Malcolm. His head hurt as he tried to think a way around what was just said, he hadnt meant for it to end that way, just a joke.]

"It's fine," he says in a kind voice back to Camron, "no harm was done." He gives him a smile and goes back to reading quietly. "If you would like you can grab a book to read if you are bored enough," he says to Camron and nods to the bookshelf nearby. Map's eyes glanced up at Camron for a moment before returning to the words on the page.

[Camron stood as Malcolm nodded to the bookself. a feeling of guilt still washed over him but noting that Malcolm was not that torn up made it a bit better. He approched the bookshelf and gazed the books before grabbing one that looked somewhat interesting, he liked reading but was very picky about his books, it was something and he wanted something to distract him for a bit. It felt weird to just read, him and someone else just in a room reading quietly, the thought felt odd as it rattled in his mind. Once he got back to the chair he opened the book and started reading, it was not quite his taste but it was interesting and good to pull his mind away a bit.]

His eyes followed Camron to the bookshelf and watched him choose a book before sitting back down. Mal then smiled some before going back to his own book. He read quietly and would occasionally glance up at Camron to make sure he didn't need anything. Malcolm had found that if he positioned the book on his sling the right way then it would lay opened perfectly and at a good angle for him to read. 'Guess this sling is kind of useful,' he thinks as he continues to silently read. (Sorry it's short)

(My replies may be a bit shorter/have more spelling errors for a day or two, I injured my thumb so it is hard to type on mobile (laptop should be fine though) [He continued to read, still a bit unnerved by the silence. Part of it felt a bit calming, just the lack of sound, not to mention how the room was quiet either way. His mind trailed slightly before he realized it and began from the start of the last page realizing that his brain hadn't read it but he had skimmed it. Before he started to read again his gazed slightly shifted up At Malcolm but he didn't say anything, just stayed quiet.]
