"Yeah..." Charlotte muttered, seeing how bad it looked. "I'll wrap it when we get back to the hotel." She said. |

Jaden wrapped it there, helping her out to her truck before getting to his car and driving back with her. |

Charlotte accepted his help and drove home, her truck trailing right behind his car. She kept looking at her wrapped leg, wondering what was wrong with it. She sighed and brought her eyes back up to the road. |

They eventually got to the hotel, Jaden parking and getting out before walking over to her. "Hey uh, we have to checkout by 6pm, after we get our bags and stuff I was. . . wondering if you'd want to stay at my place?" |

Charlotte thought for a second. "Sure." She said, internal fireworks going off slightly. "Lemme pack up my stuff- what time is... 5:00. Ok." She kissed Jaden on the cheek and hurried to her room to get packed. |

Jaden hurried to his, slipping into a pair of jeans and an old t-shirt before packing everything else up. |

Charlotte waited outside for Jaden, standing by the elevator door when an older man came up to her, and very clearly drunk, tried to kiss her. She dodged, and tried to make him let go of her wrist as she kicked and yelled, alerting Jaden from his room. |

Jaden darted down, yanking Charlotte free from him before putting himself between them, the other man scowling as he launched at Jaden. |

|
Charlotte stood beside Jaden and slapped the man across the face hard enough that he fell unconcious, and Charlotte turned to Jaden and kissed him softly. "You good?" She asked, trying to not focus on her own feelings. |

"Yeah, didn't ex-" He cut off as the man's arm wrapped around his throat, pulling him into a chokehold. Jaden's eyes widened for a moment before his expression changed into something terrifying and feral. He yanked the man's arm off him, twisting it at a odd angle hard enough to make the man yelp. Jaden leaned close to his ear, murmuring something which made him pale, nodding his head before scrambling away. Jaden turned back to Charlotte, back to normal. "Anyway, you alright?" |
