After convincing her brother to get on, the gelding looked happily back at his rider.

Tyler then asked the gelding to go, who happily obliged.

The gelding went from a walk to a trot, to a canter with Tyler's every request.

For the first time, Tyler jumped a small jump.

Once Darla had been fully groomed, fed treats and given a lot of attention, Liam put her away. He wiped his hands off on his trousers, frowning slightly. She slobbered a lot, and it wasn't something he paticularly liked. He patted the big mare, before heading back to the grooming area to pick up her tack. As Liam was about to walk to the tack room, he spotted Ria looking like she was..coaching? A guy on the gelding she was orignally riding. He didn't look too experienced, but that was nothing to do with him.

He headed back to the tack room, hauled her heavy saddle onto the peg and came back out, checking his phone. It was pretty much 12, and he was growing hungry. He passed Ria, and gave her a small smile before heading to his car.

After Tyler had said that he was ok, she jumped off the fence and walked toward the barns. She had to say hi to Kally.

Once she got to the barn, she opened up a stall that most people weren't allowed to enter. But, Kally only trusted Ria, and without Ria's help, the rose dun mare would have starved. She wouldn't eat hay, and if the grain came from anyone other than Ria, she wouldn't eat it.

The rose dun mare walked forward from the far corner of the stall to greet Ria.

"Kally, did your owners come again?" She quietly asked the mare. Kally was owned by a couple who were also alcoholics. They would often drink, and the small mare needed a soft comforting person. Her people never actually abused her, while Ria wished that they would, only so that she could get rid of them. They just had a high mean meter. They were loud, tough, and would always use a firm voice and grip.

Liam got into the car, forgetting completely that the exhaust was so loud. He winced as a very loud, low rumble slipped from the back of the car, before starting off to get lunch.

A mere hour passed before he got back, parking his car awayfrom the barn, and he then headed to the horses stalls. He was in a bad mood, angry, tired and in an immense amount of pain from a fall. He tripped over a bucket, creating a loud bang. Only a couple horses looked up.

"Oh piss off." He said to the inanimate object through gritted teeth before heading to the feed room to get stuff ready.

When she heard the bucket, she looked outside the stall and saw the time. She had been in here comforting the mare for about an hour.

"Oh my god!" She quietly exclaimed. As she exited the stall she quietly whispered to the mare, "sorry, bye girl!"

She needed to get Kally away from those people, but how?

Liam made his way successfully to the feed room, without tripping over anything else, and he read the chart, his eyes blurry slightly.

There were a lot of horses to be fed, and it was gonna take him some time to get the feed ready, let alone distribute it to everyone. He sighed and made a start, muterring angry things at things that went wrong as he did so.

She ran over to the feed rooms and saw Liam.

"Hey do you have Kally's food?" She asked, making sure that he hadn't made it before she went to making it. Ria wasn't sure if Liam knew that Kally wouldn't eat unless served by Ria. Most of the stable hands still didn't know.

"What?" Liam asked, startled by the voice.

"Haven't made it yet." Was all he said, in a bored mumble, before going back to sorting the supplements out. Measuring them was the worst thing, he despised it. All the numbers, his severe headache, the blurry vision...He stumbled slightly as he got lost in his thoughts, and his finger slipped on a sharp piece of wood stickig out from one of the food containers.

"Fuck." He said quietly as the blood surfaced. He looked over at Ria, hoping she didn't notice.

She noted his answer, and proceeded to grab a feed bucket and fluently put the required grain in Kally's bucket. Ria knew the recipe by heart, 1 scoop of normal grain, 1 tablespoon of joint supplement, 1 scoop of soaked alfalfa cubes, 2 spoonfuls of hair, hoof, and coat supplement, and finally 3 cups of honey. Oh yeah, and then mix.

After quickly completing the grain, she looked at Liam, half chuckled then asked him a question.

"Do you need help?"

Liam had finally finished the feed, and he stacked the buckets on each other, numbering them correctly before turning to Ria.

"Finding this funny are we." He said, trying to be mad. But, as she chuckled, he couldn't help but smile.

"No it's okay. Have a thing for injuring myself when it comes to horses." His tone was a bit nicer now, and he wiped his eyes in an attempt to wipe the blurry vision away, before looking down at Kally's feed. "Christ, you sure you're not feeding a unicorn? So much stuff." He mused.
